Again Yahuwah spoke of Moses, saying "Speak to the children of Israel: Tell them to make tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put a Blue thread in the tassels of the corners. Much of the book of Revelation is taken from extracts of the OT. Your woman is adapted from Jeremiah. Christianity took these OT references and added Christian teaching and Jesus to them. The Essenes, before Revelations, also took the images from the OT and added their own images. They have nothing to do with the Church.
So many people do not realise that many things in the OT are written in the Hebrew style. As pictures, not necessarily reality. In poetical style. The same applies to the book of Revelation.

As to the Church. Many of its rituals, teaching and clothing are simply adapted from the OT religion of Judaism. Purgatory, incense, raising the Bible before reading, some clothing, headwear etc.
By the way, forget what 'Moses' said. He never existed. The early stories were all written by scribes around 700BCE - centuries after the supposed Moses. Most of what 'Moses' is supposed to have written - the commandments', health regulations' festivals and much more were already practised by earlier civilisations. The writers simply put it all down to 'Moses' and Jahweh.

Babylon the Harlot? Then why did Jahweh tell the conquered Jews to settle down in Babylon, rear families, sow crops (in Jeremiah). One belief, including me, is that the writer of Revelations was referring to Rome as the Babylon. It fits in with the moral state Rome was in, and the fact that it had brought down the Jews in 66-70CE.

No, this is the catholic church. A "woman" in Biblical prophecy is a church. A harlot woman is a corrupted or evil church. The mother of all churches is the Vatican or Roman Catholic Church.

 

The false prophet will give power unto the beast. This is in revelations pertaining to things in the end times, or Jesus second coming. The Vatican is the most wealthiest organization in the world, and in place to give power unto anyone or nation/kingdom. The colors in which they wear are specifically detailed within revelations. The claims the false prophet will make are also in there, all of which the Vatican/pope relates. Again the pope claims to be Jesus Christ hidden under a veil of flesh! How can one say they are a follower of Christ when Jesus specifically said, "do not be deceived by any means, for many shall come in my name claiming they are the Christ and shall deceive many."

Constantine was able to learn that the more Rome tried to persecute Christianity the stronger it became. So he embraced it! The words of Jesus will never perish, nor can they be-rid of Him. The power of the individual surpasses massive armies of nations/kingdoms. For we all die, the questions are............how and why?

I was talking about the colours. However Jesus used the OT many times in his teaching. Hebrews taught by using picture language and a poetical style. Many of the parables used by Jesus are from the OT. E.g. Parable of the Vine, the Good Shepherd, the Prodigal son etc. These all are to do with Jahweh and the Hebrews.

 

The OT predicted (prophecy) Jesus. Everything, it's all about Jesus!!!

 

There's nothing in the OT Prophesy about Jesus. You really ought to study and understand the OT, Judaism, the way Hebrew is written and its history. NOTHING is about Jesus. In fact many people doubt that Jesus ever existed.

 

Such an overwhelming deception if Jesus doesn't exist. After-all he's the most popular person in the history of all mankind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And yes, the OT does prophecy about Jesus. Perhaps you should look into it. This way, you don't have to look so ignorant on the matter.
