    Hi !
Yes, probably there are a few little misunderstandings because of my english !
I am so Sorry, and I Apologize ! You Can Ask Me Questions, I'll Try to Answer as well as possible, if God Wants !

Of course, Jésus did Exist ! Numerous Prophecies of The OT Talk about Him in 2 Times !
1/ Time of His Live (Jésus) with His Accomplishment in Perfection Down Here !
And Them Christ Does Exist, Sat at the Rignt of Our Father (in the Sky, in Ideal Place) !
2/ Time of Christ's Return (in Spirit), Nowadays and for many Centuries, "Inside" Us Who Obey to God !

Rk : Peter-Ali Shows Us and Demontrates that Jésus was The Incarntion of Boddhisattva Avalokiteshvara Prophéised by the Bouddha Shakyamuni, and Christ is The Bouddha Amitabha !

For Us, Christic is Huger, Grander than christian !
You know christian comunity ! Christic Community will include Jewish community, Christian community, Muslim community, Bahai's community, Sikh community, yesidi community and all others communites Who Talk about, Recognize and Believe in Jesus Christ !

    Christic looks like Abrahamic !

    Of course !
I Hope I've Answered Your Questions, JRR 777 ! :butterflytwo:

In addition to the Rome 's Scandal towards The Christic Believer We are Talking about, the scandals of other thinks they Hide you are talking about, there is also the Scandal of the Permanent Trangression : when the pope Desobey (to God) and makes people Desobey, I Mean when people calls the pope "holy father" while Jésus Said : " And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven." Mat 23.9

So, like that attitude (to be called "holy father"), Isn't characteristic of anti-christic Attitudes ?

I'm not sure about Jesus being the incarnate of the list of people you have provided or for anybody on that matter. Jesus is of the Father which is in heaven, He is the son of God, God is indeed His Father. It is because of this, Jesus is not of anybody or anything else.

The link you have posted, what is written therein is also prophecy. What you don't realize is the entire world is going to come against Christians, persecute and execute Christians. Most people will see this behavior as ok, they will feel as if though being rid of Christians is something that must take place. So all your article is doing is fulfilling prophecy!!!! Whoever this article influences, is also fulfilling prophecy. But that's alright........."they have their reward."

Jesus tells us we will be persecuted for His name sake! There will be a mark we have to take, in order to buy or sell. This mark is scrutinized on what it will be. Sometimes I think we have already taken the mark. Can you get a loan without a bank account? Can you sell something to somebody without a legal document? I also think that recognizing the Pope's day of worship as Sunday is also a mark. The Vatican did this openly to show their "ecclesiastical powers". They also changed the "times and law's" as written. Times being the calendar, and laws being the commandments!

Indeed the Pope is the false prophet that gives power unto the beast.

For goodness sake. Loans in ancient times had to have security, legal documents have been in operation for millenia.

the inscription in the tomb-chapel of Mes at Saqqara (Nineteenth Dynasty) recording a long dispute over inheritance of land, with reference to land documents in the central administration document stores: this is the most extensive legal inscription surviving from ancient Egypt
An Old Kingdom deed of conveyance, effectively a will, by a person named Heti, ensuring the maintenance of his heirs in perpetuity by turning his property into an endowment to provide for his own eternal cult, staffed by his heirs (such pious foundations secured inalienable status, much as the waqf or pious foundation in Islamic Egypt)
Papyrus Kahun II.1 (UC 32055, late Middle Kingdom), an original legal document in which a man pursues a debt owed his father

There are many examples of legal documents from early times - 3 shown above.

From ancient times the seventh day has varied with the change of calenders, and ways of setting out the week.

In the year 321 A.D., Constantine decreed, "On the venerable day of the Sun let the magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed" . Constantine changed the day, not for religious purposes. Nor by the Papacy.

The Gregorian calendar is 0.002% changed of that of the Julian Calendar. They are actually the same calendar with minimal change. The Gregorian calendar is named after Pope Gregory XIII who introduced just before the 1600's. The Luni Biblical Calendar is what was used for the Biblical feasts and days of worship, also used in Jesus time. The Luni Calendar, was on average 360 days. The Julian and Gregorian calendar is 365 days, with a leap year. What I am trying to figure out now mathematically, is how the true Biblical days, feasts and worship, was not lost by this change, when there is a difference of 5 days on average. (A work in progress) One would think this change would of dramatically changed and or hid the Biblical days.

Who Changed the Sabbath to Sunday?

There can be no doubt that Christ, His disciples, and the first-century Christians kept Saturday, the seventh-day Sabbath. Yet, today, most of the Christian professing world keeps Sunday, the first day of the week, calling it the Sabbath. Who made this change, and how did it occur?

No serious student of the Scriptures can deny that God instituted the Sabbath at creation and designated the seventh day to be kept holy. “And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made” (Genesis 2:2–3). It was later codified as the Fourth Commandment (Exodus 20:8–11).

The Word of God makes it expressly clear that Sabbath observance is a special sign or “mark” between God and His people. There is also no uncertainty that Christ, His disciples, and the first-century Christians kept the seventh-day Sabbath as commanded—the day we now call “Saturday” (Mark 2:28; Luke 4:16).

Is There Any Biblical Support for Sunday Observance?

There is absolutely no New Testament text stating that God, Jesus, or the apostles changed the Sabbath to Sunday—not a text, not a word, not even a hint or suggestion. If there were, those chapters and verses would be loudly heralded by Sabbath opposers. Had Paul or any other apostle taught a change from Sabbath to Sunday, the first day of the week, an absolute firestorm of protest would have arisen from conservative Jewish Christians. The Pharisees and scribes would have insisted that Paul or any other person even suggesting such a thing be stoned to death for the sin of Sabbath-breaking. This would have been a much larger issue than the controversy over circumcision!

The self-righteous Pharisees had already falsely accused Christ of breaking the Sabbath because He violated the added man-made rules and traditions they placed upon the Sabbath (Mark 2:24). The total absence of any such controversy over a change in the day of worship is one of the best evidences showing the apostles and other New Testament Christians did not change the day. On the contrary, we have a record of many Sabbaths that Paul and his traveling companions kept long after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Read of them in your own Bible in Acts 13:14, 27, 42–44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2; and 18:4. Acts 13:42–44 is especially significant in that Paul and Barnabas, when speaking at a Jewish synagogue, were invited to speak again the next Sabbath. This would have been Paul’s golden opportunity to tell the people to meet with him the next day rather than waiting a whole week for the Sabbath. But, “on the next Sabbath almost the whole city [Jews and Gentiles alike] gathered to hear the word of the Lord.”

Yet today, most of the Christian professing world keeps Sunday, the first day of the week, calling it the Sabbath. The question arises then, who changed the Sabbath to Sunday, and how did it occur? The answer may amaze you!

    Biblical Testimony

The New Testament plainly shows we are to continue keeping the commandments (Mathew 5:17–18; 19:17; 28:20)—all ten of them. Where, then, do men get the “authority” to change the Fourth Commandment by substituting Sunday for the original Sabbath Christ and the apostles kept?

The Bible prophesied many centuries earlier that the time would come when men would think to change times and laws (Daniel 7:25). Many Bible prophecies are “dual” in nature—that is, they have a type and antitype, an earlier and a later fulfillment. Though speaking specifically of the soon-coming antichrist, we can see the forerunner type documented in history.

The Watering Down of the Sabbath in the First 300 Years

The Christians during the apostolic era, from about 35 to 100 A.D., kept Sabbath on the designated seventh day of the week. For the first 300 years of Christian history, when the Roman emperors regarded themselves as gods, Christianity became an “illegal religion,” and God’s people were scattered abroad (Acts 8:1). Judaism, however, was regarded at that time as “legal,” as long as they obeyed Roman laws. Thus, during the apostolic era, Christians found it convenient to let the Roman authorities think of them as Jews, which gained them legitimacy with the Roman government. However, when the Jews rebelled against Rome, the Romans put down their rebellion by destroying Jerusalem in A.D. 70 and again in A.D. 135. Obviously, the Roman government’s suppression of the Jews made it increasingly uncomfortable for Christians to be thought of as Jewish. At that time, Sunday was the rest day of the Roman Empire, whose religion was Mithraism, a form of sun worship. Since Sabbath observance is visible to others, some Christians in the early second century sought to distance themselves from Judaism by observing a different day, thus “blending in” to the society around them.

During the Empire-wide Christian persecutions under Nero, Maximin, Diocletian, and Galerius, Sabbath-keeping Christians were hunted down, tortured, and, for sport, often used for entertainment in the Colisseum.

Constantine Made Sunday a Civil Rest Day

When Emperor Constantine I—a pagan sun-worshipper—came to power in A.D. 313, he legalized Christianity and made the first Sunday-keeping law. His infamous Sunday enforcement law of March 7, A.D. 321, reads as follows: “On the venerable Day of the Sun let the magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed.” (Codex Justinianus 3.12.3, trans. Philip Schaff, History of the Christian Church, 5th ed. (New York, 1902), 3:380, note 1.)

The Sunday law was officially confirmed by the Roman Papacy. The Council of Laodicea in A.D. 364 decreed, “Christians shall not Judaize and be idle on Saturday but shall work on that day; but the Lord’s day they shall especially honour, and, as being Christians, shall, if possible, do no work on that day. If, however, they are found Judaizing, they shall be shut out from Christ” (Strand, op. cit., citing Charles J. Hefele, A History of the Councils of the Church, 2 [Edinburgh, 1876] 316).

Cardinal Gibbons, in Faith of Our Fathers, 92nd ed., p. 89, freely admits, “You may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday, a day which we [the Catholic Church] never sanctify.”

Again, “The Catholic Church, … by virtue of her divine mission, changed the day from Saturday to Sunday” (The Catholic Mirror, official publication of James Cardinal Gibbons, Sept. 23, 1893).

“Protestants do not realize that by observing Sunday, they accept the authority of the spokesperson of the Church, the Pope” (Our Sunday Visitor, February 5, 1950).

“Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change [Saturday Sabbath to Sunday] was her act... And the act is a mark of her ecclesiastical authority in religious things” (H.F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons).

“Sunday is our mark of authority… the church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact” (Catholic Record of London, Ontario Sept 1, 1923).

    What a shocking admission!

    A Prophecy Come to Pass!

At this point we need to note an amazing prophecy. Daniel 7:25 foretold, “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws.” Quoting Daniel 7:25, Adam Clarke’s Commentary on the Bible says:

“He shall speak great words against the Most High] Literally, Sermones quasi Deus loquetur; “He shall speak as if he were God.” So Jerome quotes from Symmachus. To none can this apply so well or so fully as to the popes of Rome. They have assumed infallibility, which belongs only to God. They profess to forgive sins, which belongs only to God. They profess to open and shut heaven, which belongs only to God. They profess to be higher than all the kings of the earth, which belongs only to God. And they go beyond God in pretending to loose whole nations from their oath of allegiance to their kings, when such kings do not please them! And they go against God when they give indulgences for sin. This is the worst of all blasphemies!

And shall wear out the saints] By wars, crusades, massacres, inquisitions, and persecutions of all kinds. What in this way have they not done against all those who have protested against their innovations, and refused to submit to their idolatrous worship? Witness the exterminating crusades published against the Waldenses and Albigenses. Witness John Huss, and Jerome of Prague. Witness the Smithfield fires in England! Witness God and man against this bloody, persecuting, ruthless, and impure Church!

And think to change times and laws] Appointing fasts and feasts; canonizing persons whom he chooses to call saints; granting pardons and indulgences for sins; instituting new modes of worship utterly unknown to the Christian Church; new articles of faith; new rules of practice; and reversing, with pleasure, the laws both of God and man.(*)–Dodd” (Emphasis his; Clarke’s Commentary on the Bible, Volume IV, p. 594).

Who Changed the Sabbath to Sunday?

Your Bible says, “But in vain [uselessness] they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men” (Matthew 15:9; Mark 7:7).

Further, “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word [the Bible], it is because there is no light in them” (Isaiah 8:20).

“Prove to me from the Bible alone that I am bound to keep Sunday holy. There is no such law in the Bible. It is a law of the Catholic Church alone. The Catholic Church says, by my divine power I abolish the Sabbath day and command you to keep holy the first day of the week. And lo! The entire civilized world bows down in reverent obedience to the command of the Holy Catholic Church” (Thomas Enright, CSSR, President, Redemptorist College [Roman Catholic], Kansas City, MO, Feb. 18, 1884).

“The Pope has power to change times, to abrogate laws, and to dispense with all things, even the precepts of Christ. The Pope has authority and has often exercised it, to dispense with the command of Christ” (Decretal, de Tranlatic Episcop).

It is a matter of Biblical and secular history that God never changed His holy Sabbath or transferred its solemnity to Sunday. Who did?

Rome, in concert with the Roman Catholic Church, changed Sabbath to Sunday!

What will you believe? Whom will you follow? The God of your Bible—or the traditions of men?

The choice, dear reader, is yours.

It is of my opinion that the Roman Catholic Church is that of the Pharisees who had Pilate kill Jesus. For even Pilate said, "I find no wrong doing of this man". Jesus and the amount of followers He had, was an absolute threat to those who even believed Jesus was prophecy. Yet with the ability to put eyes on this prophecy, they believed not. For they was under the impression Jesus would come in fine linen, precious stones, and everything man would see as material success. The message behind Jesus, is the exact opposite.

You simply quote what you are told, and believe everything the Roman Catholic Church tells you. Constantine changed the Sabbath.
Even your quote tells you that. The church ratified Constantines command. The Roman Catholic Church claims many things, but then it has been the home for crooked, murdering, greedy so-called popes. It has adapted many Judaistic rituals, teachings etc. I agree with you that this church has little right to be called Christian. But then I am agnostic.

There is no prophecy in the OT concerning Jesus. This has been the church's teaching down the centuries. It was all taken out of context by whoever wrote the gospels decades after Jesus died.

And the Jews expect their Messiah to be an ordinary man, but great warrior who will lead them to victory. Not to come dressed in fine linen with diamonds etc. Where on earth do you get these ideas.

God never ordained the Sabbath. The OT was not started until circa 700BCE. The early mythical stories (the Pentateuch) were written then. Even ancient civilisations recognised the need for a days rest each week and some used it for religious purposes.

It's no good relying on a website for information, you need to use several to form an opinion. Even then you need to study the Bible, ancient history, culture and background to see what is possibly true and what is obviously not. For instance read Matthews Nativity story and the OT quotes given to 'prove' Jesus was prophesied. Then look at them IN CONTEXT in the OT. You will see they cannot refer to Jesus. But the Church won't tell you that.

    Good luck

I agree - except we don't really know on what day Jesus is supposed to have risen. One tells us that it was after the Sabbath, first day of the week. But what if the Passover was on the Tuesday of the week that year. If that was the case there would be 2 Sabbaths that week , three in ten days. One report tells us that Jesus was crucified before Passover. Passover is on the 15th day of Nissan, and the day varies, like Christmas. every year. So he would have risen later in the week. We don't know exactly when Jesus was born, so even if we believe he was 33 when he died, when was that. Was Jesus born 7/6/5 BCE - before Herod died? Did Jesus die 26/27/28 CE?

It's 00.18 am. Time for bed. Have a good day, or rest of the day.

Paul said that it doesn't matter a rat's behind what day you worship on as long as you worship.
    Colossians 2:16 = https://www.biblegateway.com/verse/en/Colossians 2:16

But since some people worry about whether Saturday or Sunday is the day why don't they howl at the new moon every month as the Bible says they should?

There is no question by any Biblical scholar that the Old Testament predicts (prophecy), Jesus. Some put the number in the 100's of Biblical Old Testament prophecy about Jesus.

I admit I was speculating on what the Pharisees thought Jesus would look like. The reason, even though Jesus was prophecy and they was expecting a man as such, yet when He came, they did not believe. So obviously they was under a complete different influence of what/who to look for. That is the only reason why I think they was probably waiting for some man covered in fine jewels and linen. They also might of thought He would have a light surrounding Him wherever He goes. You see how they must of thought Jesus would look entirely different than He did.

Of course your sites will say Jesus was prophesied in the OT. If they didn't Christianity would be finished. Study the OT from the Jewish point of view and the times when it was written. I don't care what your sites say, I once thought like them. Then I studied what the OT was saying in Hebrew terms and Hebrew beliefs. These were around long before any Christian Messiah. The OT is about the Hebrews, written for the Hebrews starting around 700BCE. It has no relationship to the N.T except the quotes by Jesus. Matthew and Luke prove that the Nativity story is nonsense but no Christian Church will tell you that. Some will twist the facts to fit. For their own purposes they would rather people didn't know. It's been this way down the centuries.

The Church will tell you that Moses and the Exodus occurred, that Abraham was a figure in Jewish History, that David wrote the Psalms, that a million man army came from Ethiopia and fought Asa, that the small kingdoms of Juday and Israel raised a total of 1.3m soldiers to fight each other. History tells us that these are nonsense. Even the Jews are beginning to doubt.

We have more knowledge now than in the past and we can identify errors, contradictions and exaggerations that our forebears could not.

Carry on believing if it gives you satisfactory belief. But remember this. Just as you believe Paul had a vision, so does Islam, Mormons, JW's and other sects. Can you prove them wrong?

I don't have to prove them wrong, it's obvious!

No Biblical scholar would agree with you, if you know of any please let me know.

When it comes to the truth of our history, it has all been hidden and replaced with lies, of course a sprinkle of truth here and there, as any good lie has. But even now the truth is being hidden under the notion of classified and top secret! We fall for it all the time. What I mean is, they tell us they can't give us the truth or our enemies will know, I say let them know what are they going to do? And if they do anything, we will be fighting on the side of truth, so our military will actually know what they are killing other people for. Now, they don't even know why they are killing people, how could they when some politicians openly admitted that they don't even know what's going on in the middle east. How many different regimes there are, who's on who's side, etc etc. So I can't stress it enough, our troops don't even know why they are killing, yet they do it anyways simply to uphold their oaths.
This in my opinion is a very bad problem!

Again on our history. There are 57 miles of shelving within the "Vatican Secret Archives"! You and I, and most of the people of the world, are not allowed to research/study them. We are not even allowed to go into the Archives. Do you honestly think, that there is not a massive amount of truth regarding both truth in history of wars/kingdoms, and truth in history of Biblical prophecy? I find the Vatican/Pope to be very evil! But that does not mean they have no truth over us. For any hidden truth can be used over the people to gain power. Having knowledge in something that nobody else knows is a huge element for power. I think if answered honestly, they will even tell you this. Secret societies know this, because it works. The knowledge acquired, will determine the strength of the power.

Spiritual wickedness in high places far exceeds the knowledge of average every day people! To help give more insight, kings, queens, and kingdoms/nations of the past have all written down their methods of influencing their people in a desired direction. I believe the Romans called it, "cake and entertainment". Give them their variety of foods and entertainment, they won't care what we are doing (Gladiators). This knowledge has also gained throughout time, and I'm sure they have a very extensive detailed way of doing this, even to the point where it seems as if they're not. Indoctrination at it's finest.
There are vast amount of categories in which the powers that be have done this, especially if knowing the bloodline will still hold power. Democratic party, republican party, within all realms of politicians this is done. To help ensure a future victory, and obtain or uphold power.

In all kingdoms/nations, massive wars and bloodshed takes place! You would think we would learn from that, when in reality all we do is keep it like that. We convince ourselves that there will always be wars, and we all (nations) must have a military. How else could we protect ourselves? We can't release the truth or our enemies will know (Oh no, anything but the truth!). We have to have our two party system, gotta have some sort of division (knowledge gained long ago).

Our entire realm of realism, is nothing but lies. Thus, the wars, bloodshed, famine, pestilences, hunger, thirst, etc, will never end! Politically we sit here and argue over areas in which we think could make things better. Having different opinions and ways to go about it, in which have all derived from kings and queens of the past. "Nothing is new under the sun". And we convince ourselves that the truth has been given, and our history books is what gives us knowledge!

It's probably said to much, "The truth shall set you free"! What I think people are not getting out of that saying is, "Truth is the only thing that can set us free". When the veil is lifted on lies we would not believe nor able to even think of, then we will be free. The truth of man's history revealed will be a Biblical moment! "There is nothing hidden that will not come to light".

It's not obvious at all. They might be right, you wrong. You can't prove either way.

There may be hidden secrets in the Vatican files. Perhaps there are things it is better for us not to know. Not everything is for public consumption. Remember what happened when War of the Worlds was advertised on TV as real. Panic. Whatever they are hiding might mean, if revealed, that all religion is nullified. That would be disastrous if not handled properly. Over time things will be revealed. I'm not worried what the Vatican is hiding. It has no meaning for me as an agnostic.

I don't think there is anything that must be hid, nor should it. Truth is truth and it most certainly should be known, not kept from people!

Actually I know a lot of human nature. Such as to the extent of knowing the status quo will always lead to killing (wars). It's going to take a higher state of conscience to be rid of wars, and a mutual agreement on the destruction of current world leading governments and bankers and their desired way in which they conduct business/fraud. The fact that "humans" today cannot even think of a different way of life, shows the indoctrination within them. The willingness to kiss the feet of those in high counsel, at some point must end. Once one enters the realm in which the elite sit, this is "success", and they have entered an area in which the ladder comes to a halt, nothing after, just in the club so to speak. Whereas being deemed successful is specifically correlated with the status quo, and the monopoly and fraud thereof. Pulling up to someone in which you have a far better vehicle, deems most in their mind as more successful then this person in the "junker". Not knowing this persons bringing up, or game of life that has positioned him in such a place, the more successful judgment is on auto. Material possessions is what we deem successful. Indoctrinated into worshipping at the altar of consumerism, with our fancy gadgets and modern technology, who is it that thinks of all the plastic (trash) due to our "wants", yet far from our "needs". Our everyday consumption is destroying God's beautiful earth, in a rapid succession annually. I would estimate at least 1,000,000 sea creatures are swimming around right now with their faces covered in plastic. Who cares though, as long as I have what I want...........right?

In order to keep this beautiful earth in the very least, the condition it's in now, it is going to take unwanted disciplines of extreme proportions. But we "humans", are ignorant and only do as our shepherds please. Of course our personal pleasures/desires are not free from this burden, and merely add to it. The knowledge of kings pushing their people in a desired direction, is far superior than that in which it originated, and technology was put forth specifically for this reason. A very easy way to manipulate and deceive the people, is what we call "technology". We really are very ignorant, when it comes to leading people (nations, kings, queens, rulers), and all the requirements (evil) one is forced into associating with, to do so.

I do not care of being deemed "right" or "wrong", the Vatican in concert with Rome, changed the Sabbath to Sunday.

    KJB-
    Exodus 20:8-
8Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

We were talking about revealing hidden things. If scientists discovered that an asteroid were going to destroy the earth in 5 days time, would you broadcast the fact? You would have 5 days of absolute earthly chaos. You must have heard what happened when a broadcast in the 1930's announced that aliens had landed - merely advertising a film.

Mutual agreement on the destruction of current world leading governments? You mean we get rid of elections and selecting our own people to govern us. Who is going to run countries?
Bankers are essential to world trade. Most bankers are simply moving money around and often keep the government going. Financial institutions do the same. When a country runs short of money it issues bonds. Banks, financial institutions, bring money into a country. Most countries would be poorer without them.
Promotion to a higher pay scale is usually reward for hard work, hard work promotes success for a company - or country.
Very few people today bother what car their neighbour has. They buy according to their own desire.
Have you thought that the 'trash' you so despise are someone's wages that buys them food and clothing in the Far East.

You want a perfect world. Nothing changes overnight in the history of the world. Give it a few centuries, get rid of religion, and teach man to respect his fellow man, Then perhaps - if man is still around. If not, leave it to the next dominant creature. .

Not at all. Rather a far superior informed public, giving a result of far better men and woman within the government, vastly reducing corruption and fraud (evil).

There is no excuse for not having checks and balancing. Not spending more than what's being brought in. Anything less is fraud, and results in a value of zero. You might ask, "well then how is someone going to buy a house?" IF everything is balanced, the house would not be so expensive! The way it is setup now, is so the banks can acquire more money with interest rates. Most modern ranch style houses, are around 250,000 to 310,000 dollars. I don't think people realize the amount of lumber and other materials that could be bought with this amount of money. The price of a home far exceeds that of which it took to construct, including labor. Before the economy tanked, I was stocking sheetrock. We was averaging 6 to 7 houses a day, we was the 12th fastest growing city in the US. Materials were being brought in so fast and in abundance, that houses were being put up from foundation to finish, in 3 days. All walls was being pre-built and finished, and then picked up with a crane and installed. Entire subdivisions being put up within a month. America is nowhere near this production of not so long ago. Yet here you are trying defend the status quo, as if this is the way it should be.

No, if one is going to work like a work-horse, they will ride you like one.

And their desires have been given to them through advertisement, just another example of how we worship at the altar of consumerism.

    Is this your political excuse?

You are obviously from the States. I'm UK. I know little about your building industry. In this country we usually build houses to last. And you overestimate the power of advertising. The ordinary man is this country goes for the car that gives him what he wants. You have the rich who buy those cars they can afford, and the nouveau riche who go for flash cars. My son has just bought a new car. He bought a make he knows is reliable, and the model that fits in with activities. I have another friend who bought a fairly new people carrier, not for the esteem, but the fact he has a large family. For most people advertising simply draws people to something. I suggest that it is simply means of drawing people in - not making up their minds for them.

And the US has just voted a cheat, liar, conman, womaniser, racist in as President. Have they read his History? Well informed? His fiscal policies are going to benefit him, not just the country - if he can go through with them.

Only if you let them. If you're worth your salt, no company is going to let you go - unless you overestimate yourself.

Banks pay interest on customers savings. To do that and cover their overheads they have to lend money at higher rates. Financial institutions do similar, but on an international basis and have a greater opportunity to take advantage of currency fluctuations. That's how the world goes round. On a national scale you cannot always run an economy like you say. All economies are subject to world conditions. Every economy has commitments it must meet, regardless of current conbditions. And if its commitments outweigh its income, it has to borrow.

No. It's pure humanity. The people who make these things need paying to live. Or you could raise a charity to supply them with money to save them making 'trash'. I wonder how that would go down in the US. Your factories will never turn out goods to compete with the 'trash' because of your rates of pay etc. So what will your poor be able to afford?

Much of the UK industry was lost because we had overpriced our goods and it couldn't compete with Far East Products. Ditto the US.
