President-elect Donald Trump is reportedly considering actor Sylvester Stallone to chair the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).

Trump has not officially offered Stallone the position but the Daily Mail reports the actor could be “positively disposed to the idea.”

A Trump rep told us, “No decision has been made here yet.” An RNC rep added, “They are old friends and the President-elect thinks very highly of him, but no decisions have been made regarding this position.”
A rep for Stallone had no comment.

Stallone and the President-elect have a history. Trump’s campaign launched a web ad that featured a speech from Stallone’s 2006 “Rocky Balboa.”

The actor told Variety in January “I love Donald Trump.”

Stallone also compared Trump to a “great Dickensian character.” He said he had considered running for public office himself but changed his mind five minutes later when he “came to my senses.”.....snip~

What do you think.....should Trump give the Chair of the NEA to Sly Stallone?

Who do you think Hillary would have appointed? Charlie Sheen comes to mind or maybe Alan Alda for the older ladies.

I doubt the Demos will approve him. Anything to spite Trump.

I think Trump should have Kim Kardashian as his personal special advisor.

I wouldn't mind having Sly Stallone being the chair for the NWA (for once, I'm not talking about the rap group). He's a great actor and would certainly be capable of filling the position. If he gets chosen, good for him. Another thing to add to his repertoire.

On a side note, people still take Daily Mail as credible?

That would be a good fit.

Watch all the righties go ga-ga over some BS story in a tabloid, and parrot it all over the right wing alt facts bubble!

This is what you get when you make running your country into a game show.

I've forgotten more about real news that you ever cared to bother to learn.

Stick with your bread and circuses. You got the clown you wanted.

Well it certainly shows. As you can't even keep up with the current events.

When you get 20 years in the industry then you could talk about how much news you have forgotten. Until then don't talk about what you have no clue about.

I have far more that 20 years in. And I've forgotten more about politics and government than you will ever know.

It shows regularly, I am always blowing up the sort of trash and fake news you think is real.

I doubt you have 20 years in the Industry.....not once have you ever shown that you even know how the industry works.

As for politics.....you can't even hold a candle next to me. Maybe once you get another 20 years in on the planet then you can say you're almost there.

That's not how it has played out here. As its quite clear with how many times I put you in check. Like I did with Townhall. Let me know when you move up from the basics. [IMG]

I'm hoping Trump will do away with the NEA, along with the Dept of Education.
