Trump doesn't like what the Intel community is telling him so he thinks he is allowed to put his own people in there. Donald, these people are not to be messed with. You will lose if you dattempt this. And I hope you lose hard.

"Russia hacked the election! We have the documents!"

Every time I hear this Russian hack all I really hear is, "The Russians tanked my candidate! Get these bad men!"

No they are on an establishment side that is still recovering from a right hook of a populist movement. Do you always believe what they say or do you ever stop and ask for evidence?

Taking on the Federal Reserve and CIA is what got JFK shot in the head. I would be very very careful... and do not go to Dallas.

The intelligence reports he is receiving are going through the filter of Obama appointees at the top of these agencies before they are given to him. At this point, no one really knows what the "intelligence community" is saying because the intelligence "community" is not talking to Trump or to the public. (It never does) The people doing the talking are authorized to talk, and what they are allowed to say is what Obama's appointees allow them to say. If you were Trump, you would not trust information on the DNC hacking until after you had your own trusted appointees running those agencies.

And yes, he is allowed to put his own people in there at the top of these agencies. Every president does that.

I say we should encourage Trump to go down this road.

Good! They have never paid the price for their continual screw ups. Less folks at headquarters, more folks actually in the field, doing actual intelligence work.

It will be interesting if they have any actual facts to back up their assertions that the Russians "hacked" the election.

"We have two choices — some guy living in an embassy on the run from the law … who has a history of undermining American democracy and releasing classified information to put our troops at risk, or the 17 intelligence agencies sworn to defend us," said Sen. Lindsey Graham, a Republican from South Carolina.

    "I’m going with them."

Trump is a fool.. and Putin is playing him with flattery. :blankstare:

Imagine that, slimming down a bloated and politicized government bureau! The same one that banned the word terrorist on Obama's whim.

Trump would rather receive briefings from the KGB. And that's just God's truth....

I wonder what else is on that bullet-list of things that Putin wants Trump to do during his first 100 days in office.

Wikileaks? Help us out a little? Oh that's right, you only leak 1/2 of the story.

Trump is desperate that these agencies stop their investigation into the Russian hacking and so is making a veiled threat at their jobs. Problem there is that most all of the lower level operatives who do actual investigations are civil service, not political appointees. Trump may very well be unaware of this, as he is of so much else

This of course begs the question of WHY Trump so obviously doesn't want any further investigation, investigation which could only clear his name of any possible accusations of collusion on his part, but only IF of course, he HADN'T colluded.

What'cha so AFRAID of Donny boi?

You actually have three choices, believing a bureaucracy that has lied to the public, a man who has not, or Trump Derangement Syndrome. Looks like many are opting for the latter.

    - - - Updated - - -

Because every president needs a bloated, ineffective bureau that has become politicized.

What other populist candidate was running? Are you saying Trump didn't run a populist campaign? Are you one of these people still trying to comprehend what happened in November?

    So sad!

It's hard to say populism triumphed when half of Trump's ticket was an establishment Republican and voters reflected establishment incumbents across the country.

First, while you were typing, US intelligence briefing on Russian hacks are underway ... Second, as the investigation has been going on for months, and will continue for weeks, Trump cannot suppress anything ... the FOIA serves us well, and CNN is always hiring "former" intelligence personnel ... Trump has nothing to fear.

Get real. Trump is just the beginning not the end. Trump isnt the driver here, but most certainly a beneficiary. Trump played 4d chess against the establishment. I feel like I should educate you but I might be wasting my time.

Trump played to least common denominator with a bunch of lies that he can't follow up on.

    Wrong!

Youre still playing checkers. Hilarious really. Trump played 4d chess uniting nationalist and non-interventionalist against establishment internationalist. Even simple minds understand this. Still having trouble? Did I waste my time?
