The left seem to want every group of people to look like a bag of jelly beans, as long as they all taste the same. Unless you think exactly like them in all respects, you're not accepted.
They're complaining now about Trumps cabinet picks are mostly white men. The fact is, this cabinet is far more diverse than Obamas. Many of them disagree with Trump on some very key points. Isn't this a good thing? Would you feel better if they were all different races and genders but all thought alike?

    It's just more SNAFU
Anyone willing to work with President Trump will be offensive to the left. They are behaving like spoiled 2 year olds.

    That didn't take long.

Again, using my Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner analogy; while leftists are concerning themselves with stupidity like this, Trump is (beep, beep) GONE, off accomplishing the next item on his agenda. Let them stew over this for a couple weeks. That gives him more opportunity to do real stuff they can't fight because they have no power.

Democrats look at every nomination by a Republican president as a "How can we bring race into it?" situation. I was disappointed to hear Trump isn't appointing a person of color as his first Supreme Court pick. Imagine the MSM forced to slander and denigrate a black person now. They did it to Clarence Thomas in the 90's but there was no internet back then.

    Herman Cain.
I never did figure out if the allegations against him were true or not. Doesn't really matter I guess. One needs to fight those allegations otherwise they will never make it anyway.
This little tiff won't even make Trumps radar. It's like fighting a B-52 with store bought fireworks.

Yes, it sure appears to be that way. Kind of a shame that the needs of partisan politics appears to outweigh the need to address problems in a sensible, bipartisan fashion.

What ticks you off? That Trump's cabinet isn't diverse enough, or that it's full of extremely competent people?

He's mad because he's not doing what Obama did, which was appoint people because of gender and color. Not the resume.

I didn't say it (Trump's cabinet choices) "ticks me off", I was just correcting a statement in the OP, whereby the claim was made about Trump's cabinet being more diverse than Obama's - which is a pure lie. As for "competence", this is yet to be determined, isn't it?

All of these people are at the top of their game. Whether you choose to acknowledge this fact is neither here nor there.

People on the right tend to embrace successful people, regardless of their race or gender. People on the left? Not so much...

Well aren't you full of crap.

What do you think they were saying about Ben Carson?
Liberal CNN commentators were saying he has no experience and is just a token black guy on the cabinet.

Remember Mark Lamont Hill commenting on that meeting with Trump, Ben and Steve Harvey.
The guy said they were a bunch of mediocre n**roes being used by Trump for a photo op. Imagine the level of qualification, competence and influence among these 3 people and they were reduced to nothing more than the colour of their skin by the left.
Just how do you square with that kinda behaviour??!!

Wake up guy!! You leftist are the real racists in the21st century.

Any Republican that tries to embrace minorities is accused of not doing so in earnest, bringing on "tokens" for political benefit.

The template you guys follow has been around a long time.

There just are not enough Black billionaires around much less ones who Trump would want to be in his cabinet or those who would want to be in his cabinet. And before someone says that there are no Latinos my answer is Latino is not a race.

The left are OBSESSED with race. It is what it is.

Luckily we have a president who only cares about results, not feelings.

    - - - Updated - - -

    Spot on.

With the dishonest media everything is a lose lose, no matter what he does.

Tough on China? He wants a war.

Wants to work w/ Russia? He's a puppet.

They will pull out all the stops, gentlemen.

LOL, I couldn't care less about Marc Lamont Hill....you just cherry pick your way through life and follow the right wing playbook. I have no issue with this but..........I see you. Is Trump using people for photo ops? You bet he is, just like any other politician would and I have no issue with this whatsoever. The fact is Trump's cabinet choices are the least diverse since Reagan and nothing will change this - which was the entire premise of this thread. Try and stay focused on the topic.......

In my view, Obama was a complete and total failure. Why would someone want to copy anything he did? Look at his picks----Holder-racist, Susan Rice--liar, Hillary-no words to express her corruption, Sebelius---joke and failure, Napolitano--failure Geithner---tax cheat Just to name a few---who would want to recreate THAT? Did Democrats condemn any of Obama's stupid picks? NO Just like who cares about how many saw Obama and Trump get inaugurated? I don't care how many dummies watched Obama. Did that make him a better president somehow? NOT EVEN CLOSE!
Trump is the president. Give his people a chance before you condemn, because it just makes Libs look more stupid.

Any fully sane and astute American, probably is (or should be) concerned about Trump's cabinet.

    Stop with the BS.

Your view is obviously afflicted by some form of intellectual blindness.

While I can fathom someone not caring for all of President Obama's policies... the measurable samples (real metrics) of his work defy what you've suggested above.

Do me a favor, those of you in this thread who are tired of talking about race. Tell a black person that they had the same opportunities to succeed as you did and had just as few roadblocks to success as you did.

Do it. I (*)(*)(*)(*)ing dare you.

And if you don't, then voila, you know why we still have to keep talking about race.
