Man, they are coming out of the woodwork.

Turns out one of Trump's nominees is registered to vote in two states.

First young Tiffany Trump, now this guy. Certainly hope this does not hrt his confirmation chances.

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cn...s/kfile-mnuchin-voter-registration/index.html

Donald Trump's nominee to head the Treasury department, Steven Mnuchin, is registered to vote in two states, a CNN KFile review of paperwork obtained through open records requests in New York and California show.

While it is illegal to cast ballots in multiple states, it is not illegal to be registered in two states at the same time. In a tweet Wednesday, the president called for an investigation into voter fraud, including whether citizens are registered to vote in two states.

"I will be asking for a major investigation into VOTER FRAUD, including those registered to vote in two states, those who are illegal and even, those registered to vote who are dead

If this is true, why does the left deny irregularities don't happen with illegals? It seems to me the article validates Trump's claim that we need to strengthen voter registration and ID laws.

Can't butter both sides of the sandwich at the same time.

The president is certainly implying it's voter fraud.

No he's not. Its two separate thoughts. If he wanted to make one statement he would have said "which includes"

He didn't. You failed in reading. Again.

Yet the president lumped it in with voter fraud.

No, he didn't and you know it. That's why you ran away from my post explaining it.

So you followed your last pointless thread on this with another pointless thread.

By all means, let them investigate Tiffany Trump and Steve Mnuchin for voter fraud, I hope they don't laugh too hard while they do it.

You need to come up with better material.

So in a sentence about voter fraud he said including those registered in 2 states, but was not including duplicate registration as voter fraud? So he wants to investigate duplicate registration for another unrelated and unspecified reason? Including does not suggest which includes?

    Again, logical fallacy.

People engaged in voter fraud often do register and then vote in multiple states. Being registered in more than one state is not at all uncommon however, and it is not a crime, nor did Trump say it was.

But you know what, by all means, go ahead and investigate them.

Can we combine all these two state registration threads into one? It's hard to respond to all of them.

Yes he did. You know why? It's because people who DO commit voter fraud sometimes use that method.

Did people's critical thinking skills suddenly plummet?

    - - - Updated - - -

By the time they combine them all we'll have 5 more threads on different people registered in two states.

If they voted twice it certainly is.

If he had he would have said "which includes" He didn't. And you still can't explain why.

The reason for the investigation is to look for the potential of someone registered in two states voting twice. He never said it was absolute that if you are registered twice you must have voted twice. Can't you put on your logic cap and see that reality?

They found a little ***** in one of Trump's tweets and they're tearing their hair out trying to be the first to glom on to it. Trump mentioned that being registered to vote in two or more states may contribute to voter fraud. Just like not having to show photo ID may contribute to voter fraud. For example Mexico requires ID to vote - I guess their citizens are OK with it. Basic thing to remember is Trumps supporters aren't stupid and they don't care what the MSM or Hollywood think about them.

Of course it contributes to voter fraud, the problem is that there is no real way to monitor this. States each have their own voting registration systems, and they don't interconnect.

Stupid people are evaluating Trumps comments by applying logical fallacies.

Like I said, please DO investigate EVERY person registered in more than two states and see if they voted in more than one.

It's not difficult to do, since the databases are shared.

Then get back to me so I can laugh at your bucket of nothing regarding Mnuchin and T. Trump.

The bonus is it will implicate a lot of democrats and we can then throw them in jail.

Thanks for helping us with voter fraud, we appreciate it.

Exactly. In fall 2004, about a year after I registered to vote in FL, my current state, I was sent a voter precinct card from AL, my former state. The precinct card was forwarded by the USPS. There is no established system for one state to send their new voter registration information to their old state.

He didn't move. That's not what this is about. And, contrary to your claim, you will get stricken from the rolls in the very next election if you've moved because the board of elections can't verify that you still live in your former home. That's Federal law.
