Wait a minute. The left tells us anyone south of the border isn't white, and uses the racist card whenever immigration is the discussion. So which is it?

 

There are zero countries on the earth that are non-white majority that do what the US, Canada, and the European countries do.

I remember when in college a few wanted to form a "White Student Union" as an answer to the existing Black Student Union. That went over like a lead balloon with the progressive administration. Odd how this works.

It isn't wrong to criticize people of any group as long as it is not about their gender, race, color, religion, etc. specifically. If it is about their actions or words then it is right to criticize them.

 

The "melting pot" was meant as a term to describe "you come here and adopt American values." Not, "you come here and preserve your own culture and America adapts to you." And it was still vastly white immigrant population for most of our history to prove that. It wasn't a racial melting pot, but a philosophical melting pot to accept the American civilization and it's ideals of liberty and freedom. BUT THAT HAS CHANGED. Why? Who is prompting this change? Ted Kennedy changed the immigration laws in the mid sixties and they promised that it wouldn't bring a change to demographics. Somebody lied.

And now you still have to explain why Europe is being told they must accept this. Europe has never been a "melting pot."

He sponsored the bill and used his influence in the Senate, and yes, one Senator can have a lot of influence, to push it through. Democrats in Congress supported it in large numbers.
