Now, Trump prides himself for being "business friendly". However, one of the factors that prevents businesses from investing in the future is uncertainty. It looks like, however, that Trump's policies do exactly that, increase uncertainty on: -Foreign relations, even with friendly nations -The possibility of tariffs, possibly steep ones -Currency stability -Tax rates -The ability to employ non-citizens -Repeal of health insurance for employees and unknown costs to the employer Trump has said several times during debates that he wants to keep people guessing as to his next steps. That means he also keeps businesses guessing. How is that a business friendly environment? The first directive should rather be to do no harm. For Trump, however, it is all about change, whether good or bad. Businesses won't be able to thrive in an ever changing regulatory and tax system.
LOL. Exactly. They get smashed by Obamacare, a bill no one in Congress even reads before they pass, and THAT'S supposed to make them feel at ease with government policies? Then Obama keeps illegally using executive actions to change the law every 3 months or so, and THAT'S supposed to give people a feeling of certainty? Thousands of refugees and illegals pouring in, and THAT'S supposed to make people feel more at ease? Massive tax increases and the desire for more are supposed to make business owners feel certain about their future profitability? Give me a break. His post is another good example of the total delusional fantasy world that liberals live in.
I agree 100%. I repeatedly criticized Obama for creating uncertainty in business, which in part was the cause of the economy's lack-luster performance during his Administration. Trump needs to take action, and quickly. Leaving businesses hanging is not good for the economy.
So far the market seems to liking Trump. Every time I look at my 401K my face looks like somebody shoved a coat hanger in my mouth.
