The Dead Sea Scrolls, found in caves, written in Hebrew more than 2000 years ago are now available online thanks to Google and the Israel Museum, Jerusalem. http://dss.collections.imj.org.il/ The Dead Sea Scrolls are a collection of 972 texts from the Hebrew Bible and extra-biblical documents found between 1947 and 1956 at Khirbet Qumran on the northwest shore of the Dead Sea from which it derives its name, in the British Mandate for Palestine, in what is now named the West Bank. The texts are of great religious and historical significance, as they include the oldest known surviving copies of Biblical and extra-biblical documents and preserve evidence of great diversity in late Second Temple Judaism. They are written in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek, mostly on parchment, but with some written on papyrus.[1] These manuscripts generally date between 150 BCE and 70 CE.[2] The scrolls are traditionally identified with the ancient Jewish sect called the Essenes, though some recent interpretations have challenged this association and argue that the scrolls were penned by priests in Jerusalem, Zadokites, or other unknown Jewish groups.
No matter the area of discussion, whenever Israel is mentioned , the topic of theft is never far behind.
Jordan alleges a lot no need to take the ramblings of them serious. not to mention they could have stayed out of the war if they were not hostile and aggressive by nature
That is VERY INTERESTING!!! I did read this on the news, but really didn't understand what it was I was reading, so I just skimmed over it...

If you believe the Israelis are descended from Biblical Israelites then its also fair to assume the Palestinians are descended from the Ancient Egyptians. Not my idea of truth but hey, truth is not the issue here is it.
Cheers. This is one thing digital technology and the internet are freaking awesome for, making otherwise rare and hard to access materials freely and easily accessible to the entire world. Love it, love it, love it.

New Dead Sea Scrolls discovered in cave in Judean desert... New Dead Sea Scrolls cave discovered Thu, 09 Feb 2017 - It is the first such discovery in decades of a cave which housed the famous relics.
Very true Margot2,but it still doesn´t answer my question as to where the reference "Jews" originated? Jews, first called Jews as God only chose 2 groups from the original 12 sons of Jacob/tribes. One being the tribe of Judah, and the other being Benjamin. Jacob´s youngest son. Now King David is known to be of the tribe of Judah, Born in Bethlehem, but later resided in Israel´s original capital which is Jerusalem. Therefore the reference to their being called Jews. Before this,in Abraham,Moses,Isaac,Jacob´s etc. day, they were simply referred to as their being Hebrews.
Hebrews is the name of the ancient nation that crossed the red sea, all 12 tribes. "Jews" is an English word but I assume its a translation for "Yehudi" in Hebrew which means "Judean" - from Judea of the Judian tribe, the tribe of Judah along with remnants of other tribes from Israel are the last of recorded Hebrews.
Google? Why? The dead sea scrolls have been studied by many scholars, scientists, intelligent people over many years. There are many papers published, documentaries, etc... over decades. But this is all ignored to put it on google? But do the google generations care? It has no video links, no music. Add a backing track, maybe some vocals.
