I’d suggest there is a very thin line here between “parody” and “libellous fraud”. For all that politicians and journalists can be mocked when they fall for such frauds (hopefully learning from their mistakes), I think much greater condemnation is needed for those who commit them in the first place.

There's no 'thin line' or parody or “libelous fraud”, here if you watch the video you'll see she's dead serious. She was punked and fell for it hook, line and sinker. If you fall for a fake tweet it's all on the punkee.

Again, all the people who fell for this have learned an important lesson and I’ve no great objection to mocking them for it but I don’t see why we can’t and shouldn’t condemn both them and the person (or people/organisation?) who caused it all in the first place.

It appears that somebody deliberately created a Twitter account with the intention of impersonating a senior government official and though the “about” section of that account now states it is a “parody”, nothing in the content of the actual tweets implied that at all. They seem written with the clear intention of tricking people in to believing they were the words of Flynn. It doesn’t seem like anybody knows or cares who created that account, what their intentions where and what they got out of it. If nothing else it shows a lack of intellectual curiosity.

My guess, it was an attempt to prove the awful truth that when Dems see blood in the water they attack without regard for the truth as long as they think they can hurt the President.

I agree. This is a case of a lib falling for the lib propaganda. The dog chasing it's own tail. Just funny as hell.

When the corruptocrats re-elected her it was manna from heaven. Quite possibly she will lead the dems to the loss of 900 more seats in govt.

NO. Nancy Pelosi et al are the ones showing a lack of intellectual curiosity. It's what they do. Pop off at the mouth without thought. Any wedge they think will help their narrative.

Between Nancy Nutbag, Maxine Whackers, and Liawatha we will have a great future as a republican party. Now we have to get rid of people like McCain et al. The Jealous Loser Club.

The first thing I noticed after reading your post was your signature which begins "How can you take anything seriously from a media apparatus - - -" I get the idea if you read something that you like it must be true and if you read something you don't like it has to be 'fake news'.

Capt, gc17 is a balanced poster. Conservative surely but not excessively partisan.

    Cheers

    No, they haven't learned anything.

These are the people who voted to keep Pelosi.

Oh, sorry, I misread the title. I thought it said "Pelosi is a fake twit". I was going to disagree and post: " no, indeed she is a REAL twit"
