Seeing that the question itself on its face is ridiculous, knowing that if anyone on the planet attempted to frame another, they could easily attempt such a thing. However, it doesn't mean they always get away with it though. Which, Comey did not because he got caught constructing a narrative about Clinton that said nothing of her wrong doing. But, unfortunately, he did get away with one thing. He accomplished the goal of negative public opinion against Clinton. And that was significant. How? Because they had already constructed a damaging false resume of emails by Clinton that at the end of the day, ended up being a whole lot about nothing before Comey's last stunt.. And how do I know it was a falsely created resume by the Right-wing? Because no one from the Right ever inquired about Bush's 20 million missing emails. If the Right had a genuine concern about that, they would have investigated Bush first. Trouble is, they could care less about emails. They care about scandal. They got caught also trying to frame Hillary on Benghazi. What makes you think this manufactured scandal was any different?

He absolutely did the opposite. When he announced that there would be no charges he went well beyond the norm and characterized her actions in the worst possible light.

He then compounded that by announcing the nonsense with the Abedin just days before the election only to LOUDLY (calling attention to that nonsense once again) reverse himself three days before the election

Different situation. The emails should not have been on GOP servers, but they were not deliberately deleted like Clinton's were. They were deleted by policy. There was an attempt to recover them.

this man Comey had an absolutely stellar reputation for integrity before this mess landed in his lap. When he made calls that Dems liked (refusing to recommend an indictment), republicans hated on him, when he made this call Dems hated on him. When he reversed it, trying to undo the damage, EVERYONE was hating on him.

I just don't see this man as being part of a concerted effort to sabotage Clinton, so much as I see him as screwing this up out of naiveté and a desire not to mislead, rather than a desire to mislead. The impact was definitely substantial on this election though. It reminded voters that a Clinton presidency meant four years of utter warfare with a congress dredging up scandal after scandal to keep her on the defensive and too weak to effectively lead. that depressed her turn-out. It was an early Christman gift to Trumpsters and gave them newfound life in the face of poor polling numbers. They went to the polls.

There were so many reasons why she lost. But I think the topper was when she was asked during a Democrat debate about who her "enemies" were and she named Republicans. Then the icing on the cake was when she called us "deplorables." THAT was the defining moment when she lost the election. Everything else led up to it. She was/is a loathed woman. She did it to herself, and if you are honest, you know it too.
