2- It would change the demographics in Ukraine so that in future elections, the people who want to retain ties and trade with Russia would lose their majority vote.
3- The further west one goes in Ukraine, the less they want to be with Russia, so they wouldn't know where to place the border. ​

Why does Russia want Crimea?

1- Crimea was where Saint Vladimir and by extension all of Russia was baptized in the Orthodox faith and where it became the cultural foundation of Russian civilization.
2- Crimea is as important historically for the battles it fought as well as its naval base as Boston would be to us... and even more so.
3- Sevastopol is the only outlet Russia has to the Mediterranean Sea.
4- Crimea is necessary for the security of Russia to protect its missile bases in the Urals from attacks from a Nato installed base.​

Why do the people of Crimea want to be with Russia?

1- They speak Russian, conduct their business in Russian, marry Russians, and go to school in Russia.

Of course not. But you do not need to control anyone on the suburbes of Ukraine. It is enough to control people that sit in Kiev. It is 21 century now and one do not need to send the military troops to setup the government that is suitable for your political or other purposes. Russia does not want the territories of Ukraine. It wants the loyal to Russia and adequate government there, and this is normal.

There is no such thing as a Ukranian, the name itself means end of Russia. It is nothing more then borderlands of Russia.

 

So yes Nazism was that...and it was a rather limited minority of people who held those attitudes during WW2, all Germans weren't Nazis, and soldiers in their armed forces e.g.Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine weren't all Nazis, that was left to the SS, Herrenvolk, most members of the Reich, reichsmarshalls etc, just like you trying to brand ukies as Nazis.
