Oh stop, I never said it wasn't more than bathrooms what I DID say is the Bogey man you fear isn't there. The facts don't back your argument.

 

I think they have been "sexualized" for almost all of time and even under Democrats. You know Mens and Womens. And it worked just fine.

I ask what PERCENTAGE of elementary school kids are dressing like the opposite sex and pretending to be that opposite sex?

 

Why do you believe that is a "simple solution"? Do you have any idea the additional building and maintenance cost? Why do you think other public buildings have group bathrooms especially the bigger it gets. I can't imagine a NFL stadium or Talladega International having only separate bathrooms.

 

I have a more simple and much cheaper solution: if you have a penis - you go to the boy's room; if you have a vagina - you go to the girl's room...PERIOD! (No pun intended.)

There's no in-between grey area crap....no "sex you identify with" -- it all comes down to the equipment you have (by birth or by surgery).

This whole "gender identity" thing is nothing more than liberal social engineering.

As far as the "how the world survived before" argument - by that line of thinking, we should all be worshipping the Greek or Roman gods that existed before Christianity was even a concept. Better yet, paganism. From which Christianity borrowed so much. The world survived when cavemen were living without fire or the wheel. It's too bad they developed. Things were so much simpler then.

The whole sexual identity topic is a very strange one, for sure. It is not a debate about practicality (eg. cost or inconvenience of changing buildings). It's also not a debate about safety, mental health, religion or many other things that it stirs up. It's about liberties and individuals feeling oppressed (personally I feel it's a bit of a stretch). The number or percentage of individuals is not important 150,000 or 1 or 49% or 51%. Ultimately it should be in the hands of the courts. Not political debate or executive order.

 

I totally agree with you about executive orders needing to be reigned in. We don't want the presidency to become a king's thrown. I don't agree that the power is being granted or taken by the left. Both parties are taking way too much liberty with e.o.'s. It seems to be a response to a broken system where Congress can't pass anything because it's so divided, corrupt, and worried about re-election.

It is appx. .03 to .05 of the general population.

Only a dyed-in-the-wool liberal lunatic would advocate societal changes to accommodate a percentage that low of people born with such a deformity.

Autism and severe retardation are far more common - but we don't force all of society to change and enact sweeping modifications to our infrastructure to accommodate that segment -- why should we for those afflicted with gender ambiguity defects?

The topic is schools not the NFL stadiums or any public restroom, shower or locker room, or as some like to point out - what they do in foreign countries. Schools................... schools in this country. You have to change the topic or lose your narrative.

If you're interested in percentages you'll need to do your own research...I provided data stating 150,000 kids in school are transgender.

If those 150,000 use the 'facilities' 5 times each day, this is 750,000 events per day, five days per week, 35 weeks per year, which is approximately 131 MILLION events per year. While you are searching for small percentage numbers to justify your position those kids must face this issue 131 MILLION times each year! How many are ridiculed, harassed, bullied, beat, murdered? And even if there is no retribution what must be going through these kids heads worrying about what 'might' happen?

If you bother to notice I've not once talked about the solution to this issue and this is because I don't know what it should be. But there is no denying that with 131 MILLION events each year this IS NOT an issue that can be ignored...

 

Seperate stalls in the womens but troughs in mens room for peeing but that is not what was suggested. Total individual restrooms.

This topic is about creating special restrooms because a segment of our population that has a mental defect is being used as political pawns by the radical left to further their agenda and manufacture problems that play to their narrative.
