What a real Statesman sounds like especially when falsehoods, lies and distortions are not the order of the day.

The contrast between President Trump and Bernie Sanders is so great, it almost makes you cry. You should have been president, Bernie.

Sorry Bernie, but you weren't elected, so you don't get to decide what is important to talk about.

Maybe in your next lifetime, but the President doesn't care about that socialist crap you do, so shut the hell up and go away, ya loser!!!!!

Too bad CNN and the rest of the media were in the tank for Hillary. He could have been president and Trump would be licking his wounds now and pretending he didn't really want to be president.

This is what Sanders had to say about his own party: http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/26/politics/sanders-dnc-election/
Statesman like perhaps, but manipulated and marginalized at every turn. Bernie has his principles, but not the support of his peers.

He's no longer a democrat. He's now an independent.

A cradle to grave socialist that's never held a real job or produced any and been on the bureaucracratic payroll his entire career is not a "statesman". Our education system is bankrupt.

Funny how Libs NEVER complained when the Pinocchio messiah was telling whoppers every day and doing things under the cover of darkness hoping no one would see. Bernie got a raw deal from Democrats. Yet he still hangs under their noses. No guts...and the choice for DNC chair----what a hoot! He certainly does NOT represent the working class that Democrats lost.

Right now, yes. They are corporatist sellouts, and people know that now. They weren't quite ready to go full bore socialist when Hillary was supposed to walk away with the election.

They're like a crack house that has just been raided. The house is still there, as are the customers, but their product is gone and the dealers are in jail waiting for sentencing. Bernie is too old to go another round with Trump, but he is telling them that they have to accept the inevitable and just come out as the new socialist party. No more hiding behind vague terms like "progressive". They have to find their balls or they'll be reduced to a third party in a few years.

Yeah. Remember when Trump swore that if you liked your health plan, you could keep it? Remember when Trump swore that if you liked your doctor, you could keep him? Remember when Trump told the American people that the mandate wasn't a tax? Yeah, me neither. Don't talk about lies and deceptions until you expose the Democrat Party for culpability in the deaths of Obamacare victims who lost healthcare they liked and doctors they depended on. You are murderers.

Interesting take on things. Seems to me the battle in the DNC is the Bernie faction vs the Obama faction. Bernie's a right out in the open fire breathing socialist who's ready to go head to head with capitalism whereas the Obama faction wants to pretend to be moderate but sneak socialism in the back door when nobody's looking. It will be fascinating to see how this shakes out.

As far fetched as it may seem, Oprah, yes she ... is toying with a run in 2020. Now Oprah, and Obama are pretty chummy, and Oprah can arguably win the womens vote. Given Bidens reluctance, and Bernies unfavorability with minorities ... stranger sh!t has happened ...

And the Obama/Clinton faction won when Perez was elected to lead the DNC to even greater heights of inadequacy.

They're not gonna change, and that is a death knell to the democratic party. They have too many corporate donors they have to appease in order to change. Trump is a workaholic who is going to turn things around so far that it will take five democrat presidents to undo the carnage he will bring to the federal government.

No, I don't think they can change. They'll be a fringe third party by the time Trump finishes his second term.

The DNC has no new blood on the bench and I too have heard Oprha floated as a contender but I just can't imagine that happening. On the other hand she has money, fame and a following so you never know. I disagree with her politics of course but I think she's a pretty decent human being and she actually had the sense to leave Reverend Wright's church when she heard his crazy ass rants unlike Barry who pretended he didn't hear them.

Bernie isn't Howard Dean. And uhh, maybe republicans shouldn't be so quick to throw the "blowhard" label around these days.

Look at the remnants of the DNC. They have no one who can unify the factions. Someone outside the party IMO is their only viable option. Oprah, or someone not reeking of DNC corruption, is the only hope they have.

A socialist, rejected by voters and whining that a duly elected republican populist president has a Republican and populist, not his socialist agenda is kinda rich, don't you think? Perhaps you should win elections first to insist on YOUR agenda.

And where was Sanders the last 8 years anyways, that should have been plenty of time to implement whatever the hell the libs wanted... they didn't seem to want anything besides transgender bathrooms then though.

Sanders is good at delineating the problems, but I have never heard much in the way of solutions from him.

Trump is taking actions that should address many of the problems that Sanders delineates--and this is why he is receiving so much resistance from the power structure, which realizes Trump's solutions will cost them.

This is like the San Francisco 49ers critiquing what the Falcons did wrong in the Super Bowl.

You can throw around labels when you win. When someone lime Bernie gets shafted by the democrats it is more difficult.

I like Bernie, well, mainly I like his Millennium followers, I voted for Bernie in the primaries. I didn't like Trump going off on that Hispanic judge, didn't seem right, I hate the categorization by gonads and melanin, but then I found out that judge is member of La Raza (The Race!) What the hell? But when it was down to Trump and Drunken Kleptocrat who stored State Department emails on the computer Weiner was using to tweet pictures of his dork to 13 year old girls, well, Trump it was!

As for Bernie's comments, post speech, they struck me is as ill-mannered, ill-tempered and rather idiotic... but I love Bernie anyway!
