Perhaps, but it should also be noted that these are TV ratings during a time when more and more people are streaming their content online. TV ratings in general have been going down in recent years

There used to be a time when everyone would discuss what happened at the Oscars the next day at work or school.

Not any more.

 

I thought Hacksaw Ridge should have won for Best Picture, or Andrew Garfield for Best Actor as Desmond Doss or even Mel Gibson as Best Director, but Hollywood was fixated on "La La Land" and they didn't even get that right in the end! La La Land of the Libs!

 

The clear take-away from the Oscars show, is that Warren Beatty is a bumbling fool, who could not think or act appropriately and get the situation resolved, but handed the envelope to the Dumber half of Dumb and Dumber, who merely saw the name of the movie and blurted it out. WB did nothing even though part of his weakened brain suspected something was not right.

And these idiots think we give a rat's ass about what they have to say politically.

 

Oh my god, I see so much stupid coming from conservatives, but this is up there as the most pathetic. WTF does the oscars have to do with liberals? So ratings are down. Ratings for football and a lot of things are down.

Guess what, people are cutting the cord and streaming more, ratings for a lot of things are down.

I think proving, like is suspected, that right wingers just make up liberals positions and don't read or listen to what they actually have to say. It is almost funny, at least if you appreciate gallows humor, to watch. All these shallow minded dims expected to attend a coronation, even Hillary bought into the and then we had an election instead and the queen bee, surprise, surprise, lost. Any honest looking honestly at what was going on in electoral politics over the last 8 years should have seen the writing on the wall, but the American left lost in in the distortions of there own creation not only couldn't read the writing on the wall, they didn't even know it was there. Now their knight in shining armor is the ebullient ever delusional 74 year old Bernie whom many believe would have soundly beaten the Donald but I think this unlikely in Democratic Party increasing driven by identity politics had all the wrong identities old, white, and male. African never really felt or got the Bern nor did most Latinos. It is unlikely that Bernie would have won any states that Hillary didn't. In short in terms of area they've lost 85% of the country and haven't the least idea why and there's no evidence that there even interested in discovering why. The only people more lost and bemused are the Republican establishment.
