At what point do we recognize Trump as going too far?

Character DOES determine fate. The Skankipotimus got routed by a junior community organizer from Chicago as well as your favorite President. The Clinton Cartel got what it deserved based on the corruption, ineptness, and hypocrisy on public display for decades.

And shame on Trump for making business decisions in his best interest. LMAO!!! I doubt I'd like to be around Trump on a daily basis, but as President we don't need him to be our chum. We need stuff done, and the opposite path that the Obama administration had sent us down a rabbit hole. As for Trump personally, I don't know him. But I do know someone who actually met him by accident. He and his wife had booked Trump Tower Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City. When they got to the front desk, their room was unavailable. Apparently the hotel had overbooked due to a convention in town. This guy was VERY unhappy. What he didn't know was that Trump was in the lobby and overheard the conversation. He walked up apologized, told the clerk to give them a suite at the same rate that they had booked for a MUCH lesser room. He also comped them a free meal in one of his restaurants. So to say Trump is completely rotten is a stretch. Yes he is egotistical, but seems to really want to make America a better place. He's not in this for the money, and he didn't bilk, fleece, or extort global money for political favor. But guess who did?

Speaking of going too far: Imagine all the tatted, gauged, man-bunned and (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)-hatted young progs who tuned in hoping to see someone like Kamala Harris give the Dem response. Instead they got Gramps at Cracker Barrel.

Well, I'm sure it will take at least more than 40 days to make that observation.

I know he hasn't "gone too far" from a constitutional standpoint to date.

What are the odds your accusation? How about a big fat zero. I never bought into the birther thing. Never. So back to the topic, which is another leftist head shaking rabbit hole. Maybe you'd like to comment on it instead of making accusations. Deal?

And you supported a man who has a very dubious past full of nefarious radical and Marxist/socialist characters like Frank Marshall Davis and Bill Ayers?

Yep - character determines fate alright!

Well- obviously he's not going far enough to meet the standards of the lib/progressive/dem side. And- I don't think he ever will. Everybody has their limits, and I don't think Trumps character is going to allow him to stoop that low. Reminds me of union people coming over to my crew years ago and demanding we slow down, because we were making their people look bad. Sorry, we just don't do that.

This guy has already got the ball rolling towards the goals we should all have, like no president in history. I doubt he is going to let the dead weights in our society slow him down. They just don't understand the difference between leadership and dictatorship. Leaders ask you to stand up and pitch in- and if you listened to the congressional address, that is what you heard. Perhaps you noticed a portion of the congress who responded by sitting on their asses and looking pissed at the idea. No wonder they never get anything done right.

You know, posts like this make me think that Americans would benefit from a good old military junta or two. Y' all are spoiled because you've never had a real dictator.

Then again, if you had some perspective the rest of the world wouldn't be able to laugh at you over Twitter.

he's crossed the line since day one. His cabinet is a joke. Instead of having drained the swamp of lobbyists, he just went directly to the source. let the billionaires destroy all regulations so they can rob this country. The swamp now runs the country.

I can't believe how dumb so many Americans are. Fortunately they are the minority, and Trumps win has made people realize the importance of getting out to vote

    Silly perspective.

He was elected he is no dictator and nothing he has done is totalitarian.

There was never a muslim ban only a temporary halt for everyone from select nations whether christian, muslim, pagan or any other religion.

This was a reasonable step as well.

His attacks on the press may be ill advised but not totalitarian. There is no law that says the government or specific officials HAVE to cooperate with the press.

Keep in mind also that although he could be taking the high ground with the press one cannot really blame him for fighting back. It is the mainstream media which has NEVER given him a reasonable chance and has endlessly attacked him therefore they have no right to complain.

The regulations accomplish nothing except to rob the people.

Those rich guys you hate are people too and those regulations are worthless. They are not some holy safeguard for the people
