I was hoping that the profound weight of the office would make an impression on him; imbue him with some form of humility, mature something in him... Instead he's up most of the night tweeting about the Apprentice and Obama tapping his phones. It's (*)(*)(*)(*)ing disgraceful.
Dangerous how? Actually, it was Dems that layed the groundwork for the destruction of the economy and Obama left behind a faltering economy that was working well for Wall St. and failing main street. He also left office with our foreign policy and reputation in shambles.
I literally LOL'd when the man was nominated... Out the gate, I figured he'd ultimately win, due to 8 years of ObamaNation. That's great that you personally aren't partisan, kudos. I've voted R, D, I, L my entire voting life. Admittedly, it wasn't until I hit my mid 20's that I really dug deep into the records of the candidates running. I never looked back. We just ended 8 years of intense partisan Phuckwhittery, & look to wallow in it for at least another 4. I'm not naive, it has happened before, it will continue to happen. Problem is, & the MSM doesn't help, none of this partisanism helps a thing, & not just kicks, but straps a warp drive engine to the back of change, launching it into the abyss never to be realized.
The first 4 years alone saw D's chanting the mantra, "It's Bush's fault (*insert problem they had no real solution for here*), we inherited it". Trump actually blathered a bit of that last week too.... It's really impossible to take any partisan seriously, given the actions/words witnessed.
Even if you do not see it yourself. Your posts history (very left leaning) makes your recent OP decision appear as quite obvious. Nothing surprising.
...a temperamental child with unstable ignorance as a guiding force OP...This is based on your own personal prejudice. Go by what Trump does, not by your pet personality likes and dislikes. You should be on your knees thanking some god that you got Trump in your corner.
Which is none at all. He still doesn't have his whole team in place 5 weeks in Democrats have created a whole new level in the party of no sweepstakes. And based not on policy differences but upon angst, nastiness and butt hurt. I used to believe that there were few people on the left of reason, intelligence, and logic but this post election cycle leaves me convinced that the current party of the left in this country has become little more than the party of the unreasoning primal scream.
I'm sure President Trump is all torn up with grief knowing that you gave him a chance and he failed to live up to your expectations. Please, oh please....give him just one more chance! We're begging you! You mean that much!
Quite an assessment considering he has been in office about five weeks and been under constant attack from every mindless bobblehead media source in America. Hopefully he will gather a cabinet make some appointments, and become every leftie/socialist's worst nightmare for the next eight years.
Donald Trump is an existential threat to the Republic. His supporters are an even greater existential threat to it. Sad that we have gotten to this point...but here we are. I wonder...since I seldom post or visit other forums these days...is this nonsense going on to the degree it is here elsewhere on the internet also?
It's a sad mix of the same back and forth crap we went through the last 8 years. More profanity & other such fun, but essentially the same.
Basically, all your "now saying" is exactly what conservatives and independents were saying after a year of Obama, then eight years after. Those, including myself felt a community agitator, from Kenyan heritage was not capable of following American traditional ideology or if you prefer our Constitution, but fell off the compliant lines, simply to quit hearing the "RACIST" comments. We shut up, or I should say most of us, in hopes the people would come to there senses, before it was too late. As for Trump, I'd admit he is a little unorthodox, certainly to liberals, but beating out 16 opponents in the primaries and then the presumptive Democratic Nominee was no easy task, but an obvious choice of the voting people of this country. Just maybe you and the liberal's in Congress or media, could give Trump a little more time, say a couple years and if he doesn't perform, those same voters can either give him a full Congress or cause him to lose both chambers. Then after four years the voting public can choose between "four more years" or maybe Opra.....
Orwellian nightmare or worse. The puppets seem unable to see the obvious. What would it take for them to see the light? The phone is ringing!!!
People from the Left are always going to act and think alike, regardless of the matter... So you gave the President an entire 5 weeks to be judgmental of him and his performance? I guess we should be impressed, lasting 5 weeks from anyone from the Left is almost remarkable, as painful as it must be for them. But here's some of those "disasters" that President Trump was able to accomplish during his first five weeks. Progressives and the media were too busy focusing on some the most petty BS, anti-Trump crap, they could find, instead of anything politically positive. President Trump: What the new White House has done so far
I'd love to know precisely how Trump is this "existential threat" to this country. But not in science fiction or emotions, but rather on some proven facts.
I LOVE it when people say 'well I gave Trump a chance'. I'm sure you did, the same chance that a snowball has in hell.
If somebody gave him the chance that he gave to Trump, he would really go crazy that he had no chance. Things magnificent take a bit longer than a bit over a month.
oh, but the left did elect a dangerous nut and his name was obama. try all you want to lay the crash at the feet of the republicans, but it was liberal tax and spend policies that started it and finally drove it over the cliff and during eight long years the obama administration did nothing to resolve the mess. a healthy economy? you must be joking. the highest labor non-participation rate in history, debt we will will be hard pressed to pay off within my grand-daughter's lifetime, the destruction and constant dwindling of the middle-class, a spectacularly under-employed population, a wonderful set of health insurance regulations that did nothing to make health-care affordable and everything to penalize the people themselves... should i go on? the democrats did what they always do, they kicked the can down the road and hoped someone else would be in office when the bill came due. of course we didn't hear word one about most of this from the lapdog media, they were too busy gushing and quivering whenever our "first black president" spoke, smiled or farted. they also didn't seem too bothered when he attempted to get around the separation of powers and make his administration a true imperial presidency. that is tyranny, not trying to control rampant illegal immigration, not trying to ensure terrorism isn't imported into our country and not trying to cut the legs out from underneath a deceitful and partisan press. in thirty days there hasn't been the slightest peep of the authoritarianism you warned us about and that was an everyday occurrence under the previous administration. eight years ago we heard how hard it was for obama to overcome bush's mess. and seven years ago and six years ago and five years ago... up until about thirty days ago everything was bush's fault and obama was heroically dealing with the mess he'd left behind. now, just a month into this presidency, it's suddenly all on trump? for over a decade we've listened to you whine about bush this and bush that, but that was all right and complaining now about the democrats (and obama still there to spur things on) trying to hamstring any attempt to bring industry back to the nation and secure our nation and its economy? we know who won the election and we know who has been losing elections for the last eight years.
Don't forget greed as a guiding force as well. Our so-called president puts the "twit" in "Twitter"... I think the loneliest thing in the world is an idea in Trump's brain....
And I'd love to have the jackhammer necessary to get it through to you. But I doubt that is going to happen. You want facts? 2 + 2 = 4 in base 10. Our nation is the lesser for having elected Donald Trump to the office of president. There are two for you.
oh, eventually they'll win. it isn't a matter of good and evil or wrong versus right, it's simply a matter of entropy. the loss of energy and increase of random stupidity will eventually take its toll and the nation will be devoured by these fools. they multiply, they import more ignorance to shore up their own and they suck the life out of everything. eventually they will win, but we should still try to forestall their destruction as long as we can.
Well that was incoherent. It might have made more sense to the audience to whom you addressed it if you had changed the word "their" in your final thought. (Not that I actually consider it a "thought.")
