Why the Losers won't Go Away

For millions of Americans, government is existential. They cannot survive without it. They are entitlement dependent.

There are two classes of entitlement dependency: the entitlement dependent community and the entitlement dependent community organizers.

It has been too many generations. The entitlement dependent community have become as domesticated as cows and chickens. They can no longer survive unless they produce milk, eggs or votes for their benefactors. And, their benefactors are left to believe that they are entitled to the property of other men by the same dominion that men have over animals. Both the members of the community and their community organizers are equally dependent upon the confiscated private property of others. If we were to end entitlements, we would have the same scale of die offs that we would have if we set all of the cows and chickens free. The vast majority would perish. Neither the entitlement dependent or their community organizers (ranchers) are going to get jobs and melt into the economy. Domesticated chickens would have a better chance surviving in the wild.

Like sheep to the slaughter go the poor to the polls. It's all they know.

 

Most people pay taxes, including the working poor. Trump does not pay taxes. He gets all the benefits of living in this country for free. I'll take the poor any time. I am absolutely opposed to allowing the rich to live here without paying anything in taxes. Let them move to some country like Arabia that thinks being rich makes you a worthwhile country. They can even have one hundred wives and own slaves. Oops, they don't call them slaves.

I thought the welfare reforms of the 90s, got rid of most longer term dependency? The welfare system ain't what she used to be, what she used to be, many long years ago.

Today quite a bit of safety net spending goes to the victims of open borders globalization. Most people on welfare work. But when the main business model today in the service sector is for corporations to pay poverty wages and then help their employees get on welfare, welfare is different from the older form of welfare. It is now a part of the open borders free trade globalism economy. Taxpayers subsidize wages for corporations and their owner's profit. As open borders free trade bottoms out wages. Quite the scheme, quite the con game.

But i agree, that the proliferation of these dependents, & their thieving enablers has put a real hurt on the working man. And, if the trend continues, the whole system of dependency, deficit spending, & fleecing the workers will collapse, as there won't be enough people working to support all the moochers & looters.

Unfortunately, the looting class has grown exponentially, over the last few decades.. those living off the working man have expanded to record highs, & the working man is getting tired of supporting all these deadbeats.

I hate Trump because of what the man says and says he wants to do. What I know about Trump came from Trump. This continuing delusion on the right is going to result in a civil war.

 

I love Trump's honest approach when dealing with "everyday" Americans. I'm very impressed with our new President! The people on the left have so much hatred that listening to them is not in the USA's best interest.

Government exists to protect us from external threats and maintain order at home. Income redistribution is not a required (or even desirable) function of government.

Do you have any concept how naive you are saying this? Even if Trump didn't pay a cent of federal income taxes (and I'm betting he pays plenty), loss carryforwards only go so far and then there's the AMT if you have any clue what that is.
His businesses employ and contract thousands of people if not more, they all generate federal tax dollars as well as SSI contributions that are matched by his businesses. Wow. Just wow.

 

Of course, Trump has not released his taxes - as is standard for presidents to do.

However, remember that reports make it likely that Trump hasn't paid income tax for more than 18 years.

And, that is an indicator that your AMT comment is pretty much BS. That applies more to those who make much less than Trump.

I don't remember any law that says if you make enough money then you've probably done so much for America that you shouldn't have to pay tax like everyone else does. And, your comment about SSI is just as bogus.

BTW, Trump plans on eliminating the AMT and lowering the taxes of those who are ultra rich, while analysts say that his plan for low income folks will actually RAISE their tax bill. The main cause of increased taxes for these lower income individuals is that Trump plans to eliminate the personal exemption - causing more of an individual's income to be taxable.

 

You must mean sales taxes - otherwise there is zero proof because he won't release his tax returns.

How much property tax is paid by, say, Trump Towers? Outside of that stolen partial return of, IIRC, 1998 -- 20 years ago -- how do you know how much income tax (federal. state, city) Trump pays?

So, why don't you thank your lucky stars that the great US system has allowed you to attain such riches, and stop whining how miserable all these moochers make your life? anyone who complains about paying 100 grand in taxes gets no sympathy from me. I have had years where I paid over 100 grand and believe me, we were drinking Dom with foi grois not sitting around moaning and groaning.
