In 2007, Obama promised, “There will be no more illegal wiretapping of American citizens.”
Obama went on to say that under his administration, he won’t do that.

On Saturday, March 4, 2017, President Donald Trump accused Barack Obama of wiretapping Trump Tower.

Everyone should contact their Congressmen and Senators asking for an Independent Investigation into the leaks. Remember when Obama promised to "Fundamentally Transform America"? Only fools thought he was not serious. IMO, is that's what he is trying to do right now. Obama believes he will eventually rule our nation as a dictator.
I'm convinced that the Obama/Clinton plan was to indict Trump after he lost. Trump winning threw a monkey wrench into their plans, but it won't keep them from trying. Their plan to destroy the GOP and America in the process failed miserably. They're now stuck with their failed plan and the truth of their perfidy is coming to the forefront.
There appears to be documented factual evidence that Obama ordered the wiretapping of Trump’s electronic gear at Trump Tower. Apparently, he was turned down until he got the approval below revealed by the article:
“4. October: FISA request. The Obama administration submits a new, narrow request to the FISA court, now focused on a computer server in Trump Tower suspected of links to Russian banks. No evidence is found — but the wiretaps continue, ostensibly for national security reasons, Andrew McCarthy at National Review later notes. The Obama administration is now monitoring an opposing presidential campaign using the high-tech surveillance powers of the federal intelligence services.”

The biased LSM doesn't care. PSM Democrats don't care. Obama whispered sweet nothings about "having more flexibility after the election" directly to the Russian President and I was called a racist for noticing. The left has come completely unhinged.

    THE STORY SO FAR

The run-up to the election Louise Mensch and others broke the story that the Obama Justice Department and federal law enforcement authorities had obtained a Trump-related FISA warrant in October following the denial of an earlier FISA warrant request the previous June. On its way out the door the Obama administration trashed the “minimization” procedures protecting the privacy of American citizens caught in the FISA net. Andrew McCarthy raised a red flag in the troubling NRO column “FISA and the Trump team.” Earlier this week the New York Times reported the involvement of Obama administration officials in disseminating the information obtained along the way.

Wire tapping of a political opponent isn't a big deal to liberals unless you're a Republican. Nixon had to resign for a second rate burglary but Obama can listen in on Trump's phone calls to make sure he's not spending too much time talking with Putin about their grandkids.

So where is your proof that there was illegal wiretapping of US citizens? Without proof proof all you have is a TrumpTweetb. -aka a fart in the wind.

To say that President Donald Trump has a casual relationship with the truth would be a gross understatement.

Trump falsely claimed that the crowd for his swearing-in stretched down the National Mall to the Washington Monument and totaled more than 1 million people.

During his speech at CIA headquarters, Trump claimed the media made up his feud with the agency. In fact, he started it by comparing the intelligence community to “Nazi Germany.”

While meeting with congressional leaders, Trump repeated a debunked claim that he only lost the national popular vote because of widespread voter fraud.

Spicer said in a press briefing that Trump received more electoral votes than any Republican since Ronald Reagan. George H.W. Bush won 426 electoral votes in 1988, more than Trump’s 304.

The White House maintained that Trump’s immigration order did not apply to green card holders and that was “the guidance from the beginning.” Initially, the White House said the order did include green card holders.

A Trump administration official called the implementation of Trump’s travel ban a “massive success story.” Not true ― young children, elderly people and U.S. green card holders were detained for hours. Some were deported upon landing in the U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) even criticized the rollout as “confusing.”

Trump tweeted, "How low has President Obama gone to tapp [sic] my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!"

Relax, folks. It is just another Trump lie. During the election campaign, lying became an election strategy. The practice has continued during his Presidency. Lying is second nature for him.

Agents do not ordinarily draw FISA requests around possible crimes. Possible crimes prompt applications for regular criminal wiretaps, because the objective is to prosecute any such crimes in court.President Trump needs to through the DOJ or FBI to produce all records related to this surveillance; and an order to NSA to produce all the surveillance. Tasking Jeff Sessions to assign the review the evidence for violations of the Constitution, the FISA statute and the federal criminal code, then report back to him.
I have a dream, a dream that Steve Dunham aka Barry Soetoro aka Barack Hussein Obama or whatever his real name is spends his twilight years in an 8x10 Supermax cell in Gitmo for traitorous crimes against the United States of America.

But if a court ordered it, then it is "legal".

    What is your point?

Have Obama and his Progressive Socialist conspirators overplayed their assaults on President Trump and AG Sessions? Have the revelations of false use of FISA laws against American citizens by Obama and his appointees shown the criminality in wiretapping the Trump campaign Headquarters in the guise of looking for Russian involvement?

The point is that the Soviet Union was run the same way Obama ran the USA. Courts also ordered everything in the Soviet Union. You still don't get it, do you?

Good god, welcome to 2011... Obama extended and expanded the Patriot Act twice. The reason why this policy was so controversial to begin with is it allows for government snooping without a warrant.. no warrant means there isn't a proper legal process before using this power, the government just does it. Opponents of the Patriot Act simply say that there should be some sort of legal process put in place, so no one abuses this ability for their own personal gain. It is possible Obama spied on his political rivals under the guise of national security, but that's the kind of abuse of power we have enabled by giving our federal government this power without a proper legal process. Trump by the way has been a long supporter of the surveillance state, he was once boo'd on stage for this, in which he responded by shaming the people who boo'd him for not caring enough about national security.

Now as for the allegations, if it is true then it can easily be proven.. but more importantly there is an easy means to preventing this kind of abuse of power. Stop supporting the surveillance state, start using proper legal processes again. You don't want federal officials to abuse their ability to surveillance people? then stop supporting the extension of the Patriot Act.

"On Saturday, March 4, 2017, President Donald Trump accused Barack Obama of wiretapping Trump Tower."

Zero proof of anything has been presented and no, a Trump twitter post isn't sufficient evidence of anything except Trump going mental. If there was a tap, a warrant was most likely issued, and that is backed up by Trump's own claim. If a warrant was issued there is probable cause.

So why doesn't Trump declassify the warrant and provide the results of the investigation since it "found nothing"?
