    According to news reports that have come out today, since Trump has become president over 8000 Marines have applied to work at the White House. In the previous 8 years none had applied, and had to be assigned.

    Your post is already been debunked by the Marines. Marines don't apply to work at the White House they are hand-selected go back and do your due diligence before you post crap again

    The narrative of the story is total and absolute BS and has been refuted multiple times by reputable sources.

    But, of course, (as usual) the RW Fever Swamp continues to wallow in 1+1=3.

    Surely your request for evidence should be directed to the OP? Do you realise that the original claim was on an anonymous Facebook post and other figures quoted were over 13000?

    Even if the OP story was true (I've seen no evidence), please elaborate on what this means...
    When I was in the USMC, I was surrounded by some of the bravest people I've ever known (including a large number of muslims and immigrants) - but bravery does not equal political insight.
