Looks like Donnie has lost his touch "making deals." Was he ever any good at that, or just ripping off people and winning in court?

Incompetent president. Midterm elections. GOP ****ing with popular programs. I guess we'll see, won't we?

Or haven't you noticed whose approval rating keeps ticking down?

The GOP better hope they hold on to the House or they can expect a long round of "thank you" investigations into their behavior.

They didn't vote for it did they? Now how are you going to know who is responsible for voting No vs Yes???

There were no yes or no votes just Republicans. Mystery meat.

President Trump wanted a vote taken, yet it was not.

On the bright side, all the republicans are still in the running for all that Koch money.

    Classic fail.

Democrats were able to protect the status quo. Maybe 2017 will be the year when America finally decides it likes Obamacare. But i don't know: tough to get the doctor you like, premiums and deductibles are through the roof. I'm not clear on why you like it so much.

Doesn't this post seem like forever ago? In the context of now?

Everybody knew that the GOP Healthcare proposal was DOA weeks ago.

The events of this afternoon were 100% expected (weeks ago).

LMAO...Yeah, he spent a whole week tweeting lies and doing his Vito Corleone impression, but he failed to scare the cons into obeying him and now he washes his hands of the whole thing and tries to blame the dems.
Trump looks more and more like a failure each day.

Do you honestly think people have such short memories, and that all the Republican failures (so far), will just be forgotten? Get those venal profit-mongering insurers out of the loop and introduce socialized healthcare for everyone, with a private option if necessary. Every other Western nation can manage to do that, so why not America?
It's no wonder that America ranks so poorly in global healthcare quality statistics, and for the wealthiest and self-proclaimed most advanced nation on the planet, it's verging on scandalous how profit appears to take priority over the health of the population.

Politically, this may be a win for Republicans. Make a half hearted effort to repeal ObamaCare. Meanwhile, wait for another couple of years of double digit increases in premiums. You now have every Democrat in the House on record refusing to do anything to fix it.

The way I see it as an outsider looking in - after over 8 years of trying to get a good health care scheme going with no success, nobody but nobody is going to let The Donald achieve it? Why should they let him - they all have private health insurance?? [IMG]

    I think that's wishful thinking.

In two years the people will say: The GOP blustered about repealing the ACA for 7 years, and then another 2 years of having the total power to fix it, but they didn't because they are the party that can't get anything done.

How is that going to look?

    (1) Yes. The Democrats will get slaughtered in 2018. It's a lock.
    (2) Short Memory? You seemed to forget that the Democratic Party still 100% owns Healthcare. What we have right now is a 100% Democratic built system that is collapsing.
