And the traditional religion of Germany is believing on Wodan and other German gods of ancient times. Christianity was forced to believe the Germans and all others in Europe by Romans at least.

They are still doing that now about Iran because of American hostages held in 1979! But it is not Christians who are beheading and killing people around the world today. Christians have grown and moved away from their barbaric past but Muslims haven't.

 

So sexual abuse of children isn't barbaric, resisting practices known to save lives isn't barbaric.

I understand that it isn't same level of barbarism but denouncing barbarism is a bit rich when ignoring the barbarism of religions closer to home.

This is what is annoying about the argument; on one side you have people willing denounce Christianity yet ignoring or defending Islam (I used to be one of these people) and on the other side you have people willing to denounce Islam but ignoring or defending Christianity.
