What he means by that is you are not a human being until you are the legal age of adulthood. Anything less and it won't be protected. See, kids of all ages simply are not legal adults and have no rights until they become adults. Fetus included.
Actually, adults really get rights. Children have fewer by far than adults have. Children do not have the right to pilot airplanes, speaking of those under 16.

First off - the dictionary definition of a fetus does not define what a human is or (in this case) claim that it is a living human. Dictionary definitions describe - using colloquial verbiage - what that word means in general. It is not a textbook, and nor is it meant to be, by any stretch of the imagination. Otherwise all we would take to college would be a dictionary. If you want to claim that a zygote, embryo or Fetus (at some stage of pregnancy) is a living human - a highly controversial and debated question. You need to state "why". According to human taxonomy (one of the subject matter domains .. as opposed to a dictionary), a fetus in the early stages of pregnancy is less than a human. When you get to a zygote it is not even close to being a human. According to the coroner - A fetus is not a living human until it acquires significant brain function - around 22-26 weeks depending on who you ask.
Guys there's no point in even having a debate about abortion with people that don't acknowledge that when a woman is pregnant it means there's a human in there.even if it's the size of a bean it is still a human that is developing in there.If we can't agree on that simple fact there's nothing to further discuss. Enough with the word games and copy paste definitions of fetus baby person etc.. Can any pro choicers out there say to me that it's not a human that is growing inside of the womb??? If an adult says nope that's not a human...They have some type of mental condition such as schizophrenia or perhaps a learning disorder or could be going through some type of breakdown that causes them delusion or fact denial. I am not saying this to jab an insult at pro choicers I am saying this literally.Either that or they are a troll . Enough with the fetus, baby, person ,word games it's not productive and holds up having a conversation about our views.If a pro choice person wants to discuss or debate abortion but it caught up on it's a fetus not a baby thing.. Let's drop that and agree to just use the word human because that's something we all can agree on sperm+ egg etc produce a human not an alien not a tumor not a clump of tissue. now we can have some quality discussion between both sides!
