Almost NOTHING on any mainstream news source about this, uh, HIGHLY unlikely "coincidence" of almost simultaneous power "outages" in three major American cities, far apart from each other. ('Move along, move along...nothing to see here....:sleepy:')

Here's some of the pitifully few links where I could find this story that SHOULD have been the Number #1 topic in the news last night:

    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-...e-cities-hit-simultaneous-power-grid-failures
    https://www.inverse.com/article/30631-lax-sf-ny-power-outages
    http://www.trunews.com/article/power-outages-hit-3-u.s.-cities

One city has a big power outage? Not particularly exciting.
Two cities have a big power outage at almost the same time? Should raise eyebrows and invite investigation.
THREE cities, thousands of miles apart have big power outages at the same time?

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON! And why is NOBODY looking into this weird, inexplicable "coincidence" right now?!

It's the Russians, it's the Russians.
    Or the Chinese.
    Or the North Koreans.

    Ah, whatever.

Oh it took me a while, and post #2, to get it that maybe this was a hack attack by a hostile power.

I was going to say maybe a solar flare or a magnetic storm, some sort of weird space activity was to blame for this power outage of 3 cities.

    Be Afraid! Be VERY AFRAID!
    It's Muslims!!!! :p

Are you thinking Lights Out by Ted Koppel - hacking the electric grid???

I know - lets increase our insanely bloated military budget even MORE and cut everything else - that'll fix it...:p

What happened to campaign promises of rebuilding infrastructure ?????? That was about the only thing the con-man said that I agreed with - and nothing more about it since he's been sort of elected.

terrorists? conspiracy? cyber-attack? nope, just complacency in action. remember that these three cities are shining examples of progressivism and the welfare state utopia. los angeles - a city run for and by illegal immigrants and the proponents of the open borders/reconquista agenda. san fransisco - the west coast hub of elitism, class consciousness and compassionate sloth. new york - practically the home of american corruption and mismanagement, a caricature of what a great city should be. with some of the highest taxes in the nation, these three have been ignoring their infrastructure and expending their capital on social engineering and authoritarianism disguised as democracy. convinced of their own superiority, these cities and several more like them have been ignoring the practical for the sake of ideological suicide.

There are many scenerios that have crossed my mind that make those prepper types not look so foolish afterall. Having a good stockpile of food and water is essential where I live though.

Yes, that is an odd coincidence. Of course the MSM will have orders to remain silent until they find out what happened. It used to be you reported the news. Now you create a narrative.

    Power outages happen every day.

    Why?

That isn't what happened according to your own links. They were not simultaneous and only one was widespread. The outage in NY and LA were minor.

You all really need to get a grip on reality.

    OMG, Illuminati confirmed. :omg:

In all honesty though, wasn't the outage in SF due to a fire at a substation, and the NY one due to outdated power transmission?

    Oh.

So we've affirmatively ruled out Bigfoot and the Illuminati?

    Great news. :salute:

RE may become our nations savior. Not by saving the environment, but by decentralizing the grid.

No skin off my nose. I've already got a gas-powered generator for emergencies that provides 7 Kw running watts.

So, everybody's all "Ho, hum" about this...? Really, not surprising. Fine! If three significant power outages almost at the same time in three different major American cities many miles apart doesn't interest you in the slightest, then to hell with it. This wouldn't be the first time I had my sh*t "wired tight" when nearly everybody else didn't.... Have a happy day!

Only 3? I'm sure stranger things have happened.

And, I found a story about the Frisco outage. It sure didn't look like anything suspicious. Just some piece of equipment getting overloaded.

Who's to say they're not all one and the same?

It should be a wake up call for these three liberal cities, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. However, they'd rather spend millions of their taxpayers dollars to defend illegals against deportation than use it to upgrade their grid. All I can say is God Bless them and good luck!

Thank you for the pictures. Anybody can show us pictures. Is a circuit breaker hackable? In the 21st-century, damn near EVERYTHING is hackable....

They show you what want you to see. They tell you what they want you to believe. They cover up or dismiss what they do not want you to focus on. Three big power failures in three different major American cities within hours of each other. All a coincidence! Look at the pictures... listen to the explanations... "move along, move along"....

The rest of you do whatever amuses you... the longer I live, the less I believe anything that comes from any governmental bureaucracy. Perhaps the biggest mistake I ever made in life was reading Orwell's masterpiece, "1984". It changed my whole understanding of everything in modern life as it unfolds, right before our eyes.

Indeed, if "ignorance is bliss", then in the interest of your own bliss, DO NOT read "1984".
