While people debate whether to go to war against North Korea because of Kim Jong Un's constantly threats of using atomic and nuclear weapons against S. Korea, Japan and ultimately us, boasting he not only has atomic bombs but over 50,000 tons of chemical weapons. It this, he always threatens to attack civilian population centers to kill millions of people, not military targets.

His brutal executions of his own family members, his torture chambers, and brutality against his own people show he is truly a sociopath and murderous sadist in real personal psychotic terms.

There is the old notion that kings do not kill each other. They are on opposing hills watching their armies fight it out as only peasants and soldiers die in war, not the kings. I disagree. The kings/leaders should be target #1 in any war. For N. Korea, in my opinion, the real problem is Jong Un, not the North Korean people.

Why go to war against N. Korea? Why not assassinate Kim Jong Un instead? He likes to make public appearances at mass military and civil parades all to cheer and worship him. While there would be ranting, UN resolutions, maybe some token retaliation etc, I seriously doubt whoever took his place would also want to die.

I say kill him, though putting a bounty out on him would put him into hiding and send a powerful message.

Should we assassinate Kim Jong Un?

I agree. We need a team of assassins to go in there and take that pudgy little psycho out! I think the CIA used to do these types of things until the libs got a hold of them! Now we go to war instead. More unintended liberal consequences because they never think things through or use logic.

Yes, I think it's probably the best way to handle it. With him out of the way perhaps NK could join the rest of the world.

We? Hell no. We should have China do that for us. Soon enough, they will.

Assassinating Un wouldn't advert a war. If it's war you want then declare it.

Disagree. Un's closest brass are scared shitless of him. They'd likely cooperate with China if Un was dead

I think that's the wrong question. You should be asking "Is it legitimate to murder leaders you don't like?". If the answer is "Yes", the same principle should apply to any leader and any killer.

NK are fanatical about Un... if any of what you said was the case, he would already be dead... It would be like if you took the Queen of England out... He's an icon to his people.

You don't read the testimonies of defectors, do you?

Those are defectors, not patriots... otherwise there would be a flood of refugees larger than the Syrian one...

Not true. North Korea does not allow citizens to leave, and have the entire bored locked down. Syria is a wide open border. Unfortunately, you seem to know very little about NK. I've been studying them for years. I suggest you check out the Hulu and Netflix documentaries about NK. One of them is from a defector that was able to slip through all of the border guards, security, layers of fences...etc. He worked with Un Lui (cousin of KJI) who he said was just too scared to go against Kim Jung Un. Many defectors say that eliminating Un would free their world.

    NK is a giant prison.

I only know of 2 assassinations done by the U.S. -- Yamamoto and Bin Laden.

Both of these bozo's killed thousands of Americans.

Kim J.U. does not yet meet the criteria.

Then how are they defecting? Practically every prison in the US has had a riot... this would have already been the case in NK if what you think is true to reality. Korea has fought against foreign invasion and occupation for over a thousand years... NK is an appendage of these ideals... divided from a cold war. Assassinating Un isn't going to change NK's isolationism, but only strengthen it. Again, if it is war we want, then simply declare it... and be ready to occupy NK against the loyalists for generations.

This post proves that you just don't understand the situation in North Korea at all. I suggest you learn about this complex society. I wish you the best of luck on your future endeavor.

That's what's going to happen. Either that or China will invade overnight and take control.

I hope so. China must know that NK's nuclear program is a no-go with the U.S. We haven't publicly said "red line", but it is a red line. That program must be dismantled or there will be war, and hopefully, the Chinese recognize that regime change by their hand is preferable.

We're China's piggy bank. IMO, China is fed up with Un. They will take over NK for us. And we will sit back and let them.

Plus China knows that if Un starts a war we would totally take over North Korea and then China would have American troops right on their border. Not something they would want.

    6. THREATS OR INCITEMENT TO VIOLENCE

Any post that expresses a direct, indirect, or veiled threat to anyone - whether it be another member, some other individual, or a group in general - or an incitement to violence will be dealt with severely, may result in an immediate permanent banning, and may be reported to the appropriate law enforcement agency. This includes (but is not limited to) what are known as "indirect threats," such as (for example) wishing that public officials or police officers come to harm, or expressing a desire for armed insurrection against the government.

What about invading NK destroying their infrastructure and nuclear capabilities completely and then just getting out leaving the destruction to be handled by the North Koreans after they bury UN.
