In general, you need to just make your case.

That is, state why you think LGBT discrimination is justified.

Whether there could possibly exist a public gender specific school really has no bearing on the question.

Having never heard of a gender specific public school, I'm inclined to see your direction here as supporting universal LGBT inclusion in public schools.

If a Muslim wants to marry 4 wives, he can't do it in the United States. It's not discrimination towards the religion.

He can, however, divorce 3 times and marry 4 times to get 4 wives, like Trump.

Bottom line: Private schools, even parochial schools, are ENTITLED TO VOUCHER MONEY, due to their parents being taxpayers also. Period.

 

I did not directly answer the question because you clearly don't understand the answer. This is due to the fact that you haven't really thought your own position through. I'm not afraid of the answer, or how the answer makes me look at all.

Private schools have a right to determine the composition of their classrooms, and the services that they are willing to provide within those classrooms. As such, they have a right to provide an all female classroom to students that desire such an environment. The purpose for this environment is typically defined as a desire to eliminate the distraction that takes place between adolescent males and females which impedes the ability to focus on the curriculum. The state funds many schools that discriminate based on this premise. I have zero problem with that and there's a host of research to back my conclusion. Single sex schools tend to improve educational performance. Why should the sexual preference of homesexuals be treated any differently?

 

If schools can show a HOST OF RESEARCH to back their case for single sex schools then they have demonstrated compelling interest. Where is that HOST OF RESEARCH based on separation by sexual orientation. This is the argument of strict scrutiny of which compelling interest is a component of. If you do not understand that constitutional standard you argument fails everytime.

Education is another one of those things liberals only pay lip service to during elections, then summarily forget about while they're in power. Regardless, any school that follows public funding laws is required to obey all laws, including non-discrimination laws.

Public schools, however, should be able to do what they want, and charge what they want, but not receive taxpayer assistance. Just my 0.02

Frankly those student probably ran out of places that would take them, so they found places who would take them. Black universities are geared up for affirmative action.

 

That's a public accommodation issue, a states right currently. While I disagree with pa laws as long as one group is allowed to be protected then I expect for all groups to fight to be added.

You will notice religion and religious practice is a protected class by not only the First Amendment to the Constitution as a constitutional right but also Codified in the Civil Rights Act. Alas LGBT is simply not there. That puts them in the same category as folks with red hair or thick mustaches and bushy eyebrows.
