Jesus had nothing to do with writing down the Christian gospel. St. Paul was the first to write, then St. Mark, then several of the others, then finally St. John with his own version of the gospel. That's when all the writing then ended. Hebrews and Revelation are both a fake.
Hello again. Thank you for your reply. I would not blame God for causing problems for humanity, though I would feel He was responsible for allowing negativity in the universe to exist in the first place. It is true that most non-relious individuals are unhappy. Myself included. However for me and likely many others, the Christian God would stand in the way of happiness because of what He considers sin. Christianity seems to promote a "one size fits all" way to happiness in the form of love and a relationship with Jesus. To me love is a good concept, but it is only secondary. I am happiest when I'm in control. Be it of others, my physical surroundings or a situation.
Thanks for pulling an amusing consp-theory out of the hat mate, a little humour is always a good thing..
Me too, but only if I know the others are not as good as me.. For example I recently walked out of a computer game development team because the two people running it haven't a friggin clue and I didn't want to be associated with it or them any more. I've always been stubborn, strongwilled and like to do things my way, I was expelled from school and I was later jailed for 3 months on a vigilante rap. But Jesus is far, far better than me at knowing about life and the universe etc, so I'm quite happy to play second fiddle to him..
There are lots and lots of fraudulent drafts purporting to be Christian writings -- hundreds if not thousands. This was a popular counterfeiting game in the first few centuries A.D. You should read more.
You should read what all of these different writings say and try to understrand that all of them are fake.
In that case I can understand. There are people in life that I'm fine with being subordinate to. I suppose it isn't that I think I'm better or smarter than others in general. But that I know what would make me happy personally, and no religion I have read about has ever provided me with what I'm looking for. It's unfortunate that you were expelled and jailed. I'm sure that your vigilante action was justified though. Also, which computer games have you worked on besides the one with the development team you mentioned?
Jesus is not a "religion", he's Jesus, you either want to be his mate or you don't.. He said- "You're my friends if you follow me. I don't call you servants, but I call you friends"- (John 15:15) As for computer games, I've helped with too many to mention over the years, I'm currently doing Armed Asssault 3..
Think of judgement day as the day God throws out the human trash mate! Terrorists, murderers, rapists, peedos, con-men, career criminals, corrupt politicians, crackpot cultists, pol-correct traitors, Jesus-haters etc, they're all going on the bonfire, have you got a problem with that?..
Considering you ran away like a little girl from the other thread when I point out the hypocritical idiocy of your argument in using this graphic, are you sure you want to bring it up again?
So then it was Christianity that we get to hold responsible for torturing and murdering the natives of those lands until they were forcibly converted to Christianity? Christianity is pro-torture and murder?
Mohammed and Joe Smith were just one-man shows and came out of nowhere without any backup, so their street cred was very iffy. But Jesus was the Son of God himself and had the full weight of prophetic scripture behind him, spot the difference?..- Jesus said:- "All things about me in the law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms, must be fulfilled....The scriptures testify about me...Moses wrote about me" (Luke 24:44,John 5:46)
I see your confirmation bias for sure. You seem to be willing to take Jesus's followers at their word without supporting evidence, but reject Mohammad and Joseph Smith just as arbitrarily.
Christians civilised the world.. For example some redskin tribes used to banish the old and infirm to die in the wilderness because they regarded them as useless mouths to feed (top pic), but English gentleman John Morgan in 'A Man Called Horse' took a little old Indian lady under his wing to stop her being slung out, telling her "I'll be your son"..(sniffle)
Ah so when the Spanish took Indian children away at gunpoint from their parents (killing their parents when they protested) and then tortured them into abandoning their culture and religion, they were just being good Christians? So then you are abandoning your claim that "True Christians" don't torture and murder and are now saying that torture and murder are things good Christians do in order to civilize others?
Mohammed and Smith couldn't do stuff like this..- The 37 MIRACLES OF JESUS http://www.bcbsr.com/survey/jmrcls.html "..even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father" (John 10:38 ) Bringing little girl back to life Bringing widows son back to life Bringing Lazarus back to life Stilling the storm Feeding 4000 Walking on sea Feeding 5000 Coin in fishes mouth Withering fig tree Big catch of fish Water into wine Another big fish catch Healing leper Healing Centurions servant Healing Peters mother-in-law Healing sick at evening Healing paralysed man Healing haemorraging woman Healing two blind men Healing mans withered hand Healing Canaanite womans daughter Healing boy with seizures Healing blind man Healing deaf and dumb man Healing another blind man Healing crippled woman Healing man with dropsy Healing 10 lepers Restoring a cut-off ear Healing noblemans sons fever Healing crippled man at Bethesda Healing a born-blind man Casting out demons into pigs Curing a mute lunatic Casting out dirty spirit Curing a possessed blind-dumb man Appeared to his followers after his death --------------------------------------------------- Below- Jesus raises his friend Lazarus from the dead- "Come on out of there mate"
