    It depends on your zone. I have harvested a few ripe tomatoes, and my cabbage and broccoli is done.

    Is it a sad movie. I hate movies when something happens to a horse or dog.

    When you live in the south, and that would be the deep south, potatoes, cucumbers, squash, and onions are just about finished. Okra, eggplant, peppers, tomatoes, peas, butter beans and melons are the main crops now. Pepper and okra will last till the first frost.

    I don't eat goat, couldn't, wouldn't and don't plan on eating goat anytime in the future. I have heard it is delicious, that still doesn't make me want to eat goat.

    I am getting a few tomatoes. My sweet corn is silking and I am waiting for the watermelon. Okra is just starting, butter beans and pole beans blooming.

    No not really.But it's everything that a good dog movie should be.
    Another winning dog movie is :
    - It's a Dog's Life - { 1955 }
    very well done and quite introspective with the dog being the
    narrator.Kinda like the adorable piggy movie - Babe - { 1995 }

    But only if you know it's goat. ;)
    I have issues with eating animals I have made friends with also. Except lobsters, they are just too tasty....

    I love lobsters nothing like a freshly caught lobster. I love any saltwater seafood, spiny or scaly if it swims or crawls.

    John Wayne's movie "Hondo" had a dog that an Indian killed, the dog's name was Sam, spoiled the movie for me. I hate even make believe animal cruelty.
