Those Teutonic barbarians used the political infrastructure and technological personnel to carry on with the Empire. It lasted for quite awhile. And people in power did use the church for their own end as well as the church usurping power and wealth as well.

The difference now is we aren't killing people who don't agree with our theology nor are we combining our government and theology into a theocracy.

Right now we've separated our religion from our government. Some would say a bit too much.

You seem to be a bit putting yourself on both sides. If the US is unable to withold fascism, it is expected the ideology you will use will be the Christian Right which shares much of course with the alt right.

As far as not combining your government with theology and making it into a theocracy, well in part that is most definitely correct. Most genuine Christians say it has nothing to do with Christianity and is simply the hard right...but that is the name they are using

People of color? I said Muslims, not "people of color".
This is not an abortion thread.
You're getting too strange. Please use specifics from reliable sources.
. I've asked you more than once to please not bother sending me your silly cut and pastes. I tried watching one and it was absolute nonsense. If you actually believe this craziness you're reading on these insane conspiracy sites then 'childish' is a rather mild response..
...I've asked you more than once to come up with something positive to say about Islam but have received no response. I've asked other followers for something flattering to say about this anti education, anti women, religion but they can't come up with anything either. All I get from you is nonsense about "Right Wing Christians" plotting some nefarious deeds somewhere.
Is that what they told in the madrassa? And you believe it?
Part of a conspiracy by Right Wing Christians, I suppose. If Muslims had the ability to think more freely perhaps you could come up with more realistic theories as to why Muslims behave the way they do and, if they are so easily influenced, why can't you learn to love your fellow man more than you do?? If that was possible you'd be condemning what's going on in Islam today and defending the rights of other human beings to live freely, just as God/Allah intended.

Just a small read will explain that it is Muslims who are doing the hating - and acting out their hatreds. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_terrorism

No it will explain why Islamist extremists are doing the hating. You are still confused about that.

Those of us who interact with Muslims in the ordinary course of life, day in, day out, have nothing to learn from you - or your recommended reading - except, perhaps, how sadly out of touch with reality you are.

If this is your roundabout way of saying that not all Muslims are terrorists, I agree. But many are, and many support them. That's the concern.

Rather than calling out those Muslims who are terrorists you'll find many Muslims blaming their terrorists among them on the USA, or other issues they feel might detract from the reality.

Maybe you can ask these Muslims you interact with how they feel about Gays, or women.

The ones I interact with appear to have no problems with gays and really like women. Christians like Britain First detest gays, it is in their religion.

These people need to direct their hatred towards the culprits. The ruling elite and the richer elites who own these ruling elite and have decided to destroy the different European culture in Europe by allowing in people who will not assimilate into western culture. What drives this is neoliberal capitalism, the intention of reduce wages to the greatest minimum, in order to reap more profits for the top. This group of people find an ally in a liberal academia which believes religiously in multiculturalism, as they a oblivious to how this weakens any society, and create conflict as any division inevitably does. Multiculturalism is an ideal created by brains who ignore basic human nature and history. This ideal is dangerous, if human society is important, and reflects wishful thinking about cultures getting along when mixed in and put in a pressure cooker which is what urban society is. If one is intelligent enough, by acknowledging human nature, what is happening in Europe is utter irresponsible behavior from the ruling elite. And yet when the truly intelligent speak out against the most "uncommon sense" they are labeled Nazi nationalists, and equated to that form of nationalism, instead of seeing it differently as only looking out for ones culture and ones own people, first. Nothing wrong with looking out for ones culture and citizenry, yet this is now called nationalism as if we should not do it.

Let us look at this a little differently. Let's change the context, take religion, culture, out of it and then see how we would feel about a similar situation..

Imagine a newly mutated virus that if one contracted it, death was a given. No one survived it once they caught it. Now imagine it is only in middle eastern nations. Why would responsible action by Europe, the US be? To allow in millions of infected people, and carriers? And with this new virus, there is no way to be certain who is a carrier and who is not.

When you change the context, but offer up a very similar context, even these faux liberals would have common sense and not allow anymore in. Only the truly insane and mental defectives would allow them in. Case closed.

Your opinion on the situation in Europe is not the reason the OP banned people have their views. Their country refused to accept a single Refugee.
I think you are muddling things up here. While that certainly could be an argument which could have been made for Brexit, and also one which could have been sorted with regulations on pay, it is not the situation with the Refugees who came in. Would be that it is neo liberalism that is behind the destruction of the ME as that is the reason for the refugees which came in, in mass a couple of years, ago mainly to Germany.

The exploitation of hatred towards Muslims originates from the US and is linked to its support for Israel. People called it the transatlantic anti muslim extremism. Breivik gave the people spoken about in that report full credit.

    https://www.americanprogress.org/issues/religion/reports/2011/08/26/10165/fear-inc/

except you do not know what is going on as I showed you at the beginning of my reply. I am curious though as to how a person with your views can survive in the United States. You thinking of civil war? Ironically I was hearing that black people who apparently are ready for one if you get started have going along with that working for the end of neo liberalism. They in fact are much nearer the truth than you.

These people are neo nazis. No doubt about it.

    Yourself?

Incompetence does not rule out a group as being political, and it is not necessary to have military skills to be considered a political group, either. The only thing necessary is to be political.

Only democracies are to blame for everything on this planet. If we could all become innocent non-white non-Christian third-world socialist comrades, we'd be living in a blissful brotherhood.
The far-left poisonous ideology in a nutshell.

I'm amazed at how unaware you are of the hatred dripping from your posts. Hatred for anything and anyone not fitting into your worldview. I'm amazed at how unaware you are of the rampant antisemitism on your precious far-left, including your idol Corbyn.

Do you really believe that non-democratic countries shouldn't be held responsible for their actions?

I was not the poster that brought up interracial marriage. However, in my experience many black males pressure white females into dating them in order to prove they are "not racist". It's manipulative carp.

Not necessarily. They let Ebola in, and did their darndest to help it spread. I guess they were hoping for a gift like HIV, to augment their "victim" herds.

Yes, the same people who let that in also let other dangers in, like muslims who are carriers of radical islam. But I was speaking to citizens, not these rulers who could not care less about the safety of their own citizens they are supposed to serve, but refuse to do that.

I never said that. What I said was that in democracies if we condone inhumane, unlawful practices, then yes, we the people, bare a responsibility for them.

    racist somewhat.
You a Christian Pisa or just a supporter of the hard right political group calling themselves the Christian Right who fund your settlements and help colonise Palestine - You know the American Christian Right who work for such ethical things as torture? I am well impressed however with American Christians not of this sort and the work they are doing to expose these Political 'Christians'. Likewise you should look to Palestinian Christians who held out for help to the Church of Scotland to which they responded - don't like those Christians do you Pisa? Just those who believe in torture, fund your settlements and encourage and help your Colonialism.

I have been intolerant of intolerance all my life.

    Popper

Or as Chris Hedges a Christian said, while of course it is necessary to allow everyone their opinion and to the extent that is possible that must be done but a time may come when it is necessary to change this. He notices how the Christian Right are afraid of Christians like himself who will speak up and fight for justice. Indeed he believes they and liberals/left will be among the first attempted victims of a potential new fascism. He speaks about how one of his Lecturers when he was studying Divinity at Harvard warned of the dangers within the Christian Right. This was a man who was alive and in Germany during the Holocaust. He particularly criticised liberals, then and now for their continual belief that they can just hold out their hands and talk and come to an agreement with such people. He talks about how the Christian Right has also worked this out - that left/liberals will still be trying dialogue 'while they are led to the slaughter'. Because of this he believes that we should claim in the name of tolerance the right not to be tolerant. We should claim that any movement preaching intolerance places itself outside the law and we should consider incitement to intolerance and persecution as criminal in the same way we consider incitement to murder or kidnap or the slave trade as criminal.

I refer you to RiaRaeb's post above.

They're told what to think, say, and write because they're mentally and spiritually disabled enough to take corrosive instruction from those with a genocidal agenda. If they were able they'd reject it like the functional do.
