    I can't think of a song per say, but 20 years ago I worked for a top 40 station. 20 years later I turn back to the same top 40 station....and it's like the songs are exactly the same....and you will never find any of those songs on the classic hits station. Sad.

    For me...I can't stand the heavily autotuned crap that's coming out these days. Back when Autotune was a tool that could allow you to fix a recording without having to redo the whole thing...it was fine. Now however they're using it to the extent that it's the musical equivalent of botox. No expression, no depth...nothing.

    But last night I was listening to someone blasting something in their car as they went past. I'm guessing that it was some form of hip-hop or rap judging from the beat...but the lyrics sounded like C-3PO having an electronic stroke.

    Lol! There is a commercial on the radio station that is on at work, and the guy talks in an electronic voice. It is SO annoying. It really does sound like a robot too.

    Musicals rock if they are parodies! :) Not sure how familiar you are with Silvio Berlusconi's escapades, but this one is top class;

    Child artists singing about love is always equally cringey. This one is no exception and the fact that it uses a very generic beat and mainstream chord progression combined with that it is in Norwegian (stupid language) makes it even worse. :laughing:

    Well, oldies/doowop is my favorite. Hence, my name and place of birth :)
    THEREFORE: I HATE RAP :)
    AND, one night I was in a club waiting to hear a group do some doowop and there was a local band on stage.
    The guy playing guitar hit a particular note/cord, and I got a cramp in my lower belly making me race to the restroom.
    I finally got out of the restroom, started to walk by the stage to get a drink and that s.o.b. hit the same note/cord...and off I went again.

    True story, no crap :)

    This awful and sad excuse of a song is too damn annoying and a major suckage:

    I swear this song has been released every year since 2010 or something. Enough already! :mad:

    There have been some uses that work. I like Jesu, and I like Daft Punk's use of it since it fits the style. I'm more turned off by the whole formula. Pull out a track from the trash bin, add an extra instrument or not, auto tune the vocals, now you don't need any vocal talent to be a pop star.

    I see your point. There are so many songs from this decade that sound just like this. I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to hear this. But if it's what the sexy girls want to hear, I can tolerate it :rolleyes:

    I'd rather listen to this with a girl than Future or Kanye. But that's just me.

    The worst music that I have ever heard in my opinion is Calypso, Reggae, Hip-Hop, and sappy romantic music, unless it is Sarah MacLauchlan.

    I was at the Georgia Jam concert in 1975 I think it was at Atlanta Stadium and they played some kind of bluegrass music that was probably the reason so many were in the medical tent. Allman Brothers Band [ Greg came out and ODed:weed: on the stage so they put on bluegrass :boo: till Marshall Tucker could come on ] ZZ Tops and a couple others performed. :applause:
    Some bluegrass is ok but they didn't play any of that. :confusion:

    This man, local guy;
    Moved to my neighbourhood, was based in my neighbourhood, died in my neighbourhood.
    Thornton Heath, South London
    and, (I play guitar) other musicians in town, reggae mostly, knew him personally 'he was known in Thornton Heath'.
    Me, I just missed him when I met members of the Reggae scene, he had already passed.
    His old house was up the road from mine, about a mile away.

    I think of him, not as a Reggae artist, but a Calypso artist.

    You see, Reggae is Rastafarian music, which is also religious, so it's like Gospel music, or church music; Desmond Dekker and his music, Calypso; predates Bob Marley - who ran the flag for Reggae and Rastafarianism. That's a difference (there's probably more differences) between Calypso and Reggae.

    If Isrealites is a 'religious song'... It's still the wrong religion to be a Reggae song.
    On that note Forum; One love and peace & unity. Jah bless :)
