Why travel bans don't work...

    The one thing all these recent Russian/Trump campaign revelations seems to be underscoring is the ineffectiveness of travel bans.

    Considering the sophisticated nature of Russian infiltration, who honestly thinks ISIS could undertake the same? It requires a vast amount of infrastructure to do that, but a Muslim travel ban undeniably lends itself to recruitment propaganda...and isn't that the greater threat?

    Of course, this is true. But let me ask you this....when will people actually care. Fighting ISIS is fighting Muslims for most, or at least, the people who are getting their voices across. So the travel ban, just like the wall, is just for people to feel like they've done something even though they havent done jack and arguably are making the problem worse.
