    1. The following are excerpts from the 13 July 2017 AFP news report headlined "China says upholds UN sanctions as North Korea trade rises" at http://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/afp/article-4691632/China-says-trade-N-Korea-10-5-half.html

    (Begin excerpts)
China insisted Thursday it was upholding UN sanctions on North Korea despite a jump in its trade with the nuclear-armed nation that comes amid growing US calls for Beijing to rein in its neighbour....

Despite Washington's calls for action, trade between China and its neighbour increased 10.5 percent to $2.5 billion in the first six months of the year compared to the same period last year, including a 29.1 percent jump in exports.

But customs administration spokesman Huang Songping said Beijing was upholding the UN sanctions against the regime of Kim Jong-Un.

"Simple accumulated data cannot be used as evidence to question China's severe attitude in carrying out UN Security Council resolutions," Huang told a news briefing.

He pointed to a 13.2 percent drop in imports from North Korea in the same period as an example of the pressure, adding that there have been sharp decreases every month since March.

"UN Security Council sanctions are not a total ban on shipments. Trade related to DPRK people's livelihood, especially those that reflect humanitarianism should not be influenced by the sanctions," Huang said.... (End excerpts)

    2. Together with its recent hitting back at repeated calls from the US to put more pressure on North Korea, China's increase in trade with the rogue state shows that it has finally decided to go all the way with the devil incarnate.

Kim Jong-Un reportedly called North Korea a "military power of the East that cannot be touched by even the strongest enemy". We would wonder whether China takes Kim's boasting seriously. China's current friction with Vietnam is a mirror image of future Sino-Korean conflicts once nuclear-armed North Korea succeeds to subdue the South.

Sen. Cory Gardner (R-Col) had written in an op-ed published by CNN: “Our message must be clear: if you do business with Pyongyang, you will face the full wrath of the US economic sanctions regime.” Let's see how the Korean drama show end. Will it be a comedy, a farce, a tragedy or a bloodbath? Will it end like a fairy tale with everybody living happily ever after?

My dear North Korean comrade, I understand why you fight so hard in defending your beloved devil incarnate leader, or else you, your family and your relatives back at home could be executed with anti-aircraft guns.

You seem to be threatening death with your "cornergas" that killed Kim Jong-nam, the half brother of your dear devil incarnate leader. I'd better stop going to any airport but build a castle wall round my home instead. :skull:
