It took about 20 years of reality.......but I think a bare majority of blacks now believe that OJ was guilty of the double murder. Of course a huge percentage of Whites have always known the truth. The murder case was lost when the prosecution was bullied by 'civil rights' groups into moving the trial to downtown LA which ensured a majority black jury. The rest was just a show trial with the media blaming the prosecution for fumbling the case and praising Johnie Cochran for his 'brilliant' defense. Hogwash.....it didn't matter what the evidence showed.....this was a straight 'jury nullification' by a black racist jury. That being said he was 'over-sentenced' in the current case.

I wonder why armed robbers aren't charged with kidnapping, for instance, when a guy robs a bank and prevents the customers and employees from leaving while he gets the cash? Or how about when a guy robs a gas station? Why isn't he charged with kidnapping like OJ was? It's obvious that OJ got screwed by a racist jury and DA.

He killed his wife because he was a jealous ex-husband. He thought he was thug and went to jail for 9 years. Now he's 70 years old. Let's hope he's mellowed.

I hope OJ is picked up from prison in a white Bronco. We could relive his escape, er... release.

I do not think it was racism, I think it was thinking they were punishing him for a previous crime, which of course is not how are justice system works

A black guy on parole in Florida? OJ is the dumbest black person in America. He'll be lucky to make it a month before he bites the dust. Zimmerman is still loose and packing.

So why aren't robbers charged with kidnapping?

I read about a case where a black guy robbed a shoe store and got charged and convicted of a federal crime because the store was part of an interstate chain. But he was black. The American justice system is completely racist in nature.

Most states have lesser charges. Kidnapping in most states requires moving the person from place x to place y then holding them. The intent is to hold the body. The intent in a robbery isn't to hold a person, it's just to get money on site. However, if the robber says, I won't release someone unless... that's kidnapping.

    Cheers

Whether OJ thinks so or not, it ain't no 'bargain' for killing the mother of his children. Karma has a way of making things equal.....Ok, Ok...IF he did it.

kidnapping would be taking someone somewhere against their will and holding them captive

if I said "he kidnapped a child" what comes to your mind, is it, oh I bet she was at a bank while it was robbed

it's a robbery, that is what it is

if I was in the bank I would not say I was witness to a kidnapping, I would say I was witness to a robbery

    Beaten, yes.

Lost to -- well when you think that his legal fees cost him his house and surplus cash -- ok.

His $120K NFL retirement per month is safe though. Goldman can't get at that.

It only costs about $100K to $200K to hire a Mafia hit man.

OJ should have used a pro rather than done an amateur job which ended up costing him $20 million.

Plus the Mafia would have only targeted the bitch not poor Ron Goldman Jr.

I thought he was acquitted for murdering 2 people. His NV conviction was nothing more than payback using the Justice System, I don't feel sorry for him though.

Racism aside, the legal system like democracy is imperfect. But like Churchill said about democracy "democracy is the worse form of Government except for all the others"

So until the legal system is improve (somehow) its what we have and works ok most of the time with great variables.

That said, OJ wad acquitted for those murders. Arm chair experts can have their free opinion but clearly the factor of police corruption swayed the jury. Move on!

Now in the last 9 years OJ has done the time for the crime. That's his punishment along with his parole period. Some want more...too bad, leave him be.

However, the justice system also decided to award his former in laws money. So according to the above principle he should get a job and pay back his debts...if that means until he drops so be it.
