Which in my opinion is a shame. I don't want propaganda, I want unaltered unbiased facts. Anything less is trash and should not be supported.

Impartiality in reporting is a utopian myth. There is no such thing as an absence of bias.

The problem is that people don't want to acknowledge this because it would mean more work for them. Instead they try to find the unicorn that is an unbiased news network, so they can give their mind over to them.

Take a wide variety of sources and be critical. Cross reference with the opposition. Trust no one. That's the only solution.

Demands of impartiality are part of the problem..

CNN is a joke and their ratings prove that.

Not really. There are journalists who are, of course, biased personally but are fit to entertain a variety of ideas and to not allow their own biases to interfere with their work.

No corporate turdbucket media tycoon's gonna hire them though.

Either you are providing the material verbatim in which case you're really more of a distributor, or you make value judgements on what is valuable. You have to make calls on what the truth is, and the only source of input is what you believe to be the truth.

There is no infallible book of truth to source from. The best you can do is give your perspective of the truth and be upfront about where you stand.

You as a reader have a responsibility to get your information from a variety of sources and cross reference. You cannot abdicate your responsibility to others.
