The president says that transgenders are a "tremendous" expense on our military. In actuality our military spends more than 10x as much money on erectile dysfunction medications alone than it does on all transgender soldiers combined

Erecting Trump's new border wall would cost an estimated 2,620x to 8,250x more money to build, and another 17x more annually to maintain than what we spend on all transgender soldiers each year combined.

So what's the real reason we are banning transgenders from serving in the military?

and.. if money is really the issue, we could just cut the ED medications from our expenses. That would save 10x the amount of money, AND wouldn't require kicking thousands of perfectly good soldiers (who already passed the physical requirements) out of our military.

That's of course assuming that this is really about money.. but it is apparent that this isn't really about money

I think the left is blowing this way out of proportion. I think trannies will be given the opportunity to serve, though I do expect that military policy will deny such persons preferential status. The military will issue gender appropriate uniforms, ans assign appropriate barracks. Provisions to exclude elective surgeries will be adopted. Cross dressers are free to express their "individuality" when they're off duty. Trannies obviously don't "feel comfortable" in their own skins. If they're not comfortable wearing a gender appropriate uniform they need to seek employment elsewhere.

 

Lefties are gonna have to be reminded that elections have consequences.

The real reason?

A. Trump is campaigning and needs to remind his supporters that hate and discrimination are his platform so they'll vote for him.

B. Trump may be heavily invested in the makers of Viagra and is their best customer.



I think Trump supporters should get their wish....nobody goes to war but hetero white male Trump supporters.

Trump saw his military appropriations bill going down the drain because the far right was trying to insert language in the bill discriminating against transgenders.

Is a twitstorm an actual policy document????? Does Trump think he can rule by decree (we've seen time and again that he thinks he can).

He knows a gimmick like this will start the chins wagging on cable TV news and play to his base, which eats this sort of thing like candy.

Thus, he distracts the audience from the chaos in the Senate over the health care non bill.

And blows the fact that Manfort and Don Jr are trying to hide form appearing in public before the Senate Intelligence Committee.

In a few days, we'll discover taht a tweet is not an executive order, and it will all be over.
