Reagan gave amnesty to millions of illegals in the 1980s.

So frustrating to have the Republicans preach and preach on getting rid of ACA, simply to have nothing to off of.

While I am not a Republican, my employee health care csots (as well as my own) have truly skyrocketed. My friends on Facebook (undergrad at Arizona State so it may be skewed by AZ being the worst effected state by the ACA) have posted over a dozen receipts showing their healthcare going through the roof. All this on top of what Obama originally said of "price decreases", "keep your doctor" were such blatant lies.

With all of this said I had moved to a very anti-ACA stance, ready for the Republicans to show why so much of country agreed with me in wanting to change over to a new system.

Then ..... they had no system. My palpable excitement over, I went back to my original stance of realizing both parties are absolutely horrible.

We simply cannot pay for the insane amount of added benefits without increasing the costs to the average person. If one person would just come out and say it, and show exactly what is going to happen, we could actually have a debate.

But 'the game' has turned into whoever can lie the best while hoping they may have 5-10% of their system successfully in effect.

You could pretty much guess EXACTLY what was going to happen when Obama launched the ACA. Many people correctly pointed it out and the worst is still to come. No that will not change that much under the Republican plan, they are basically the same thing. We are forcing the rich to pay for everyone else, which can only lead to one place....

The rich will eventually pay "the pneatly" or "tax" or "whatever", meanwhile they will buy into their cash only system with something like $5k -10k down at the beginning of every year. It is already happening and will be the pinnacle of AMAZING health care (for those who can afford it).

We had one doctor come in and give us a presentation for us and it was INCREDIBLY impressive. We are in a large growth period and the chaos of trying this out would be .... too much right now.

But we had all our employees who are on the West Coast (11 people including myself) either come in for the presentation or be present for the company discussion involving it.

For 16 people, we negotiated a $50,000 initial down payment and was explained that depending on what was needed it, whatever was left after yearly 'administrative costs' could/would be rolled into the next year. The most impressive part however was the cost differentiation between what his group could do vs that of Kaiser Permanente (we use Kaiser so he tailored his presentation to it) He had a list of "in group" specialists as well as a ton of others who were covered by the over group plan.

I will say, if you can afford it, it truly was amazing.

I didnt have ONE SINGLE employee (including myself and my sister) who didn't want to change over to it. I could see these becoming extremely popular

Yeah he claimed he was for repealing it but that's when he could hide behind others he knew would vote against it. But this time it all came down to him being the deciding factor so with nowhere to hide, he had no choice but to finally expose himself for the democratic hack he is. Can't wait until this one is gone..one less in the swamp.

Ironic that the trumpettes consider McCain a "benedict arnold" for voting no to a bill that was being rammed down the throats of all americans without due process and WITHOUT knowing exactly what the replacement was going to be YET get bent out of shape trying to defend the trump campaign eagerly attempting to collude with the russian government to win the election. Traitor? you be the judge.

Did he? When he only had the Senate but not the House, how could he do what you claim he did?

Ironic that the ACA was rammed down our throats with lots of false promises. Promises never kept.

We never colluded with Russia. Frankly, Obama said he knew all about it and refused to tell it to the public.

McCain does things out of spite. He can't stand Trump and is ticked off the way Trump trashed him during the primary's. He was in the bag for Lindsey Graham and when Trump dispatched Lindsay to the trash heap it did not please McCain. McCain is a war hawk and he see's Russians under every rock. Now if Trump would have said something like "let's bomb Moscow" McCain would have been frothing at the mouth and praising Trump. His time has passed and he won't be around much longer. Good possibility he will never be back.

Um, probably all of them...if not..far too many. For each one of them we have to support, one American has to go without.

Congress overwhelmingly believes Russia tried to **** with our election.

and that Trump should NOT be allowed to unilaterally reduce any sanctions on Russia.

Well except for Congress that is, THEY all have GREAT health insurance hence the reason McCain isn't concerned about his medical needs being taken care of. Wish the shithead would resign so we can get a true conservative in his place.

Reagan gave three million illegals amnesty. Reagan nearly tripled the debt. Reagan supported gay rights as a governor of California. Your post is asinine.

McCain was given an ovation for travelling in to vote to proceed, but when the vote was going to be on a piece of crap, he voted his conscience - and thus gets the wrath of the GOP, which has shown it has no conscience.
For McCain, unlike the GOP, it isn't a game of "winning" it is doing the right thing as he sees it.
Very sad only 3 GOP senators have a sense of decency.
