Well, USA citizens have no problems with being fed one side stories from Washington. When was the last time CNN or Fox News or any other USA media outlet have been referring to russian media sources? Just to be fair, sincere and honest - do YOU receive more than one side of story?

As for culture - we're hardly different, especially considering that films, games, Internet, and other things still move freely between countries. The culture is fine, the diplomacy is getting fuсked.

They still get fed one sided stories, so not much has changed.

In fact, the expulsion of US diplomats and the confiscation of diplomatic property is a response to similar actions by the White House at the end of Obama's rule. The Russians hoped for common sense in the new administration, but the mind and the White House are incompatible concepts. Therefore, there was an answer.

The reciprocal sanctions on unfriendly US policy will be after the introduction of new sanctions. And the response is already ready. They say it will be very painful for the USA. But so far the response has not been announced .... Soon we will see.

I think the most effective answer is to ruin the US economy. In fact, this is easy to do. It's enough to throw out American Treasurys on the market. In this case, the dollar as a reserve currency will be finished. Russia has enough resources for this.

In addition, can stop selling titanium in the US. You can stop delivering enriched uranium for nuclear power plants in the US .... Quit contacts by North Korea, by Middle East .... and much more. Do not forget about Afghanistan. You can supply weapons to Afghans, just like the US did in its time.
You can also stop cooperating on space flights. Do not sell rocket engines. And much more

This is what lies on the surface. I think experts know how to respond.

I hope not so many as in your historical homeland, where now every second person is either a separatist or an agent of the Kremlin?

    Abraham Lincoln. Quote.

"As a nation we started with the announcement that "All people are created equal". Now we have amended: "All nations are created equal, except Negroes." When this approach prevails, it becomes clear that "all people are created equal, except Negroes, foreigners and Catholics". In this case, I prefer to emigrate to some country that does not depict a love of freedom - for example, Russia, where despotism does not contain in itself the additions of duplicity as we have "

You again show your propensity for eliminating the context and meaning of a members post through cherry picking selected snippets to project your own idiocy upon discussion, interrupting discussion with the ignorance and pathetic attempt at humor that seems to define the more useful aspect of the unfortunate persona you have strangely decided to us as the definition of what you are. I might suggest you avoid further degradation of your own character, but attempting to help some disorders has shown to be futile in past interactions.

Unfortunately, Russian media (being state controlled) is considered primarily a propaganda machine outside Russia and is therefore generally dismissed as a "News" source. When every source outside Russia tends to report data that indicates realities opposing the Russian version repeatedly the source becomes tainted.

The western media isn't any better, the difference being that it's elitist controlled.

yeah....weird isn't it. Elitists (the wealthy), tend to be the ones who have the money to create media outlets and businesses tend to be the ones who pay for advertising in commercials to support the commercial model. It would seem Elitist basically means everyone in an economic system that has done capitalism well and makes more money than I do.

I was talking about the greedy, non-productive (ie parasitic) elitists, not successful businessmen who have provided employment for tens of thousands.

So was I. Greed is an unfortunate and inevitable aspect of wealth, and is often the primary reason the wealth even exists. Granted there are altruistic, philanthropic rich people and organizations that are the relatively rare example of what we might hope for, but even these will have a certain amount of greed at their core. Greed is often another term for success in a capitalist system, and is a part of it.
Perhaps exchange the word prick for greed.

Well that explains why North Korea and Iran have the same amount of US embassies and staff in their countries as the US has North Korean and Iranian staff and embassies in the US.
