Exactly. I like the way it is done down here in Georgia. Legislative session last 40 days. That is 40 business days which begins on the second Monday of January of every year. All legislative business must be done in that time frame. Although the Governor can call the legislature back into session if need be. Something akin to that would be ideal in my mind for Congress. Let them come to town, do the peoples business and get the heck out of town.
I feel that no member of Congress who voted to repeal the Affordable Health Act and leave between 16 and 22 million Americans currently covered for health care, without that coverage, should ever be re-elected to Congress. No American with that little compassion for their fellow Americans should ever be elected to public office.
It's not a two-party system anymore. Now, we've got: 1. Cowardly, chaotic, piss-their-pants RINO's ('Republican'-in-name-only) 2. Conservatives, who support the Constitution, the Law, and a free-market Economy 3. Radical, hyperliberal Socialist-Democrats For 48 years I was a card-carrying Republican, but now that it's congested with RINO's, I've changed my official Colorado party registration to one of being simply "Unaffiliated". I can at least respect Democrats for being a straightforward, declared enemy of nearly everything I believe in. At least they're honest. But a dirty, back-stabbing, slimy bunch of cowardly, treacherous RINO bastards have contaminated the Republican Party to the point where they simply make me want to PUKE.... NO WAY could I remain a 'Republican' while any of those sons-of-bitches are in office....
