Leaked transcript shows Trump begged Mexican prez to Pay for the Wall

But the thread author didn't use the WaPo as his source but RawStrory,com.

Since I first heard about leaking the transcripts yesterday on the FNC, I was well aware that someone committed a felony and leaked the transcripts to the WaPo. Both the WaPo and the NYT have a long track history of publishing leaked classified information to our enemies and adversaries.

There is the full transcript. I just read the whole thing. There was no begging, in fact Trump was very matter of fact.

We really need to move past the hatred and have constructive dialog. This tit-for-tat childish **** on this forum needs to stop.

 

Because there is no recording. Anyone can maker a transcript. Plus the source has 6 sections you can click on... US, World, Science, Tech, Media, and Trump. So an anti-Trump source got an article from an anti-Trump source, doesn't offer proof other than "it's true because I say so" and makes a story out of it... Sure, what's not to believe!

Pot, kettle? I think it's rather serious if our president is representing our country in this ridiculous manner. He has the potential to damage our standing significantly and, in fact, appears to be accomplishing just that already to some extent. He is plainly dishonest and incompetent, and thus a walking, talking, tweeting national security risk. I find that compelling and have done so ever since his campaign.

So it's down to who personally finds what more compelling? I see the attempt to complain about the leak happening as an attempt at deflection. Maybe start another thread to focus on that if you really find it that compelling, though, and this one can continue to be about the content of this leak specifically.

The article is a double fail because even if it turns out to be true, Trump didn't beg. I think healthcare should go back to what it was pre-Obama and out taxes should go towards the wall. Anyone capable of working, but sitting on their ass instead, should have their government assistance going towards the wall, and required to pay a penalty at the end of the year if they didn't get a job and pay their own taxes throughout the year.
