Comeys impanelled the jury. The jury hasn't yet been discharged. The jury previously subpoenaed documents, and likely has again. Flynn provided the documents, and nothing came of it. Expect more of the same.

I read up on this tonight, and it seems like they can go "off the reservation" and if they find criminality in other places during the investigation they can prosecute that. Thats what they did with Bill Clinton.

 

Why are white guys always taken to task over barbaric acts that occurred in barbaric eras? The fact that Europeans could circumnavigate the globe and exploit less advanced civilizations is the basis of the white supremacy narrative that's repeated to this day. Whites were superior, technologically speaking, at that time, and capitalized on their advantage. Empires were built on conquest, and subjugation. Those practices weren't exclusive to Europeans. At some point, the past has to be left in the past. Why do self proclaimed progressives want to dwell in the past?

 

That's more laughable still. I've repeatedly ridiculed FARA because it's allowed Manafort to retroactively register every time he's caught violating. Mueller has investigated Manafort before ... possibly twice before. FARA has loopholes, it's ambiguous. I've been critical of congress, both parties, for not addressing the real issues. Campaign / FARA reforms & enforcement. I support Trump, but not foreign influence. If Trump or Clinton utilized loopholes, the loopholes need closed. FARA reforms should be bipartisan. The Patriot Act is the other issue. The temptation for abuse is to great. It has to be repealed. Bush, and Obama abused it. Given the chance, Trump will too. The NSA has built offshore collection hubs that bypass FISA entirely. The NSA collection apparatus needs dismantled.
