Trump is running his mouth on Twitter, and quite likely just made it up. It would not be the first time. Nor would it be the first time that Trump made baseless and irresponsible claims in order to pander to the prejudices of his shrinking base while rattling the confidence of the rest of the world in the US President. I doubt that Trump is even aware that the Iran deal is a multilateral arrangement involving many countries, all of which might have something to say about the issue.
Meanwhile his administration has confirmed - on multiple occasions - that they believe Iran is complying with the deal. The man is a lame duck and officials have already learned to ignore the man.
