No, my figures are up to date and based on actual figures, not anecdotes from some bloke counting heads on the border in Bangladesh. Feel free to present some data to back up your claims.

Keep in mind that the figure is 5-8 children and the claim is 'routinely', which equates to 'frequent', 'regular', 'standard', 'habitual' etc. That means you need to get more than just a collection of anecdotes or statistical outliers. Given that there is only one region of the world where Muslim fertility rates are within your parameters (just) you are going to struggle.

Well are you going to provide a link on it then? Preferably one from an independent and reliable source?? there are 4 in this pic, and probably another one 'in the oven'? And she still looks young enough to have a few more?

They're still Muslims though. Or are you giving me an unsolicited geography lesson?

You've made the claim, you back it up. Do it proper & grown up like, not using anecdotal evidence and a few unhappy snaps. Actual proper statistics based on large populations is the bare minimum.

I've got plenty of stats lined up if you can be bothered to put in some effort trying to back up your claims. My personal bet is that you are going to try to disqualify all of this based on your particular version of 'independent and reliable', but we'll see.

 I'll go to the region and count them all if you like. Whatever 'stats' you come up with, every time I watch news footage there are always at least 3 sprogs to one adult.

Most refugees from Syria can get to Europe via Turkey or a ferry ride. Burma is very different. Look at a map and think it thru.

I'll take that as an admission that you have no data & were just spinning some BS based on something you saw somewhere once. You are welcome to your own opinion, but not your own set of facts.

Read my post again and you'll see that I actually wrote 'every time I watch a tv news report', which I suspect most people would take to mean that it wasn't 'something I saw somewhere once'? Are you in some kind of denial? [IMG]

Ahem, Burma was changed to Myanmar about 20 years ago. Look at a map and see for yourself - it might be showing the name-change by now.

Actually, Turkey, Lebanon, and Jordan have accepted more Syrian refugees than all of Europe combined

Wherever Syrian refugees are they'll never go back to Syria because there's nothing to go back to, other than rubble where houses and commercial buildings once stood.

No, I'm in possession of the facts rather than an over active imagination. You should try it.

Well let's see these 'facts' then. Give a source if you're so certain of them.

Yeah. Clearly the USA caused the wars...

I realize the U.S. is to blame for everything, but it seems to me that if there's no 9/11, there's no Iraq war...

No ... sorry, but forget your intention directly, because this is no usual "USA is for all and everything guilty BS" what I wrote, but backed by facts!

But I can puke about US people who deny and ignore the realities about the evil things the USA did too and believe the BS of USA was never bad and did never bad ... and much more I can puke about people who rate these things not as evil, because the holy USA is allowed to do it, others not!

Was the attack on Saddam in 2003 with anything reasoned at least? No... it was a criminal attack, backed on lies about WMD's which Saddam still didn't have anymore and that he had not followed this or that UN resolution is also BS too .. because then you had to invade Israel same way if this is the only reason!

And to enlighten you about Iraq plans of Bush administration ... thy planned the attack still when he wasn't even elected and this is confirmed by numerous statements of people of his administration, for example Rumsfeld!
And before 9/11 was Iraq about 2/3 of times the top topic at the security council meetings, but Al Qaida was rated down to be dangerous like the Mexican drug cartels only and also to be an exaggerated issue of the hatred Clinton administration before.
