In a news clip on this mornings news, it shows Diane Feinstein grilling a prospective woman federal judge. Feinstein goes on a rant about the fact the woman is a Catholic, and claims the Catholic dogma in high in her. This is religious bigotry pure and simple, and is at odds with the Constitution. The actual truth here is the fact the woman is a conservative, and hates her for that fact.

Gee another thread the left wants to go away as soon as possible. Strange how the left wing tries to bury all the things they do and accuse the right of.

Most California politicians are jokes. And the state is fast becoming a joke.

Why would you say that D_T. It's on TV and it shows Feinstein actually saying that she sees the woman's Dogma is too much in her.

If the woman is a Catholic/Christian then she believes in magic invisible unscientific stuff like magic invisible little people that fly around with wings on ("angels") - so that would mean she's delusional, and if she's delusional then OF COURSE it's a very very legitimate concern for Ms. Feinstein to have. If the woman believes that people, just based on their religion (i.e. not being a Christian), get brutally punished when they die ("hell"), then also OF COURSE that is of legitimate concern (she would be a mean and hateful person if she believes in "hell" for non-believers, of course.)

Well yes, but calling it the Marxist Party seems a bit much -- accurate in its essentials -- but still a bit much.

What was the litmus test on all of Obama's nominees? Where they already vetted as confirmed atheists?

The subject of the OP is OLD News.

There was a thread about it last Wednesday.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/index...r-on-christian-judges.514301/#post-1068014752

Do you ever check to avoid duplicate threads?

Or is perpetuating redundancy in the PF Forum Index (by parroting the latest RW Conspiracy) becoming your life's mission?

Nothing personal, just a friendly inquiry.

And, on topic: Nobody cares about Feinstein's questioning.

Carry on and happy trolling. :salute:

its still a valid thread, as we should not disqualify someone simply due to their membership in a faith.

as long as they are committed to the USC as the final and highest law of the land, they're cool in my book.

I will admit that I honestly think that FEWER racists exist on the Democratic side of the aisle than on the Republican side.

But what if when it comes down to this question they can't answer the right way? "When there exists a discrepancy between the Qur'an and the US Constitution, would you say that Allah got it wrong, or that the humans who wrote the Constitution got it wrong?"

If they are delusional, then yes, of course....so the question should be whether someone who believes in a talking donkey, and a talking snake, and a talking burning bush, and a 2000 year-old talking invisible dead guy who lives up in the sky is delusional. I say "yes".

My point was that that book (it's your book) does NOT believe in democracy (the USC), but rather in totalitarian political schemes.
