I have to agree and a lot of the entertainment is free. If you really want to gamble this is the place to go. I was off strip at the Rio catching the P&T show and the place is really aging rapidly. It smelled like BO and considering the clientele not surprising.
How so? How do you tax free speech or the right to remain silent or religious liberty. There is a difference.
How so? In my state, open carry is predicated upon possession of a CCW. However this process is not especially expensive or onerous. It does not prevent by any means the purchase or possession of firearms. You can carry them while traveling and keep them within your domicile while doing so.
You can disagree that the sun will rise in the morning but it is a fact that you can not exercise the right if you don't pay the fee
Truth is, every day, States are moving to Vermont style firearms Rights/ permitless / Constitutional carry, no fee required.
For a state like Vt. that's a good idea. For some of the Appalachian states, the deep south, NY, NJ, and Penn., not so good.
Are their restrictions actually managing to prevent prohibited individuals from illegally acquiring, possessing, and carrying firearms in a concealed manner? The news certainly does not suggest such to be the case.
The permitting requirements of these states are doing nothing to prevent prohibited individuals from illegally acquiring and carrying firearms in a concealed manner. Nor are charges for such actually being pursued in a court of law when they are caught in the act. The only time such restrictions are actually being utilized, is for the purpose of prosecuting those who are out of state, who possess a wholly valid concealed carry permit, that is unfortunately not recognized in the state at the time of the arrest. These restrictions are not being used to address the actions of criminals. Instead they are being utilized to prosecute what amounts to paperwork inconsistencies.
