Oh, last 3 pages, fine. I must have missed that post. You don't write your own thoughts, only quote someone else. And frankly it's a very poor analysis.

    - She ignores the question of why Trump started by saying McCain wasn't a war hero.
    - She completely ignores the statement "I like people that weren't captured". That clearly changes the meaning of the 1st 2 statements of "he was a war hero".

Here's my interpretation. Trump was peeved about being insulted so lashed out at McCain. but then realised that the audience was divided after "I like people who weren't captured". So he backtracked, repeating the sarcastically used phrase "he was a war hero" as if he had genuinely meant it.

Since you clearly disagree, explain (a) why he started by saying McCain wasn't a war hero and (b) why he said he liked people who weren't captured.

I love leftist thought processes since they contain neither trait. Sorta Zen-like.

It's an excellent analysis of the discussion and the dishonest way it was represented in the media. The entire book is an excellent analysis of the process by which biased news media smear people with whom they disagree. You are doing so yourself in the above post by using the adjective "sarcastically" and the phrase "as if he had genuinely meant it" in your description of the totality of the discussion.

BTW McCain is not a war hero because he was captured. He is a war hero because of what he did in captivity. Do some homework on that.

It's a knee jerk reaction. They can't help themselves.

I gave you my interpretation and again I invite you to give yours. Explain (a) why Trump said McCain wasn't a war hero and (b) why he said he didn't like people who were captured. Isn't making blanket statements while avoiding the facts exactly what you dislike about liberals?

Like respecting women and gays when you are at your job, in uniform? Or that's different?

As I said the Pharmaceutical company's packed up their $50 millions dollars worth of advertising and sent it elsewhere. Others will surely follow. Advertising is all about getting the commercials in front of people, ratings go down less people are seeing that $50 million worth of ads.

They'll all pay the price when contract time comes around. Only the very best players will survive.

And now, even Dallas Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones, has groveled in deference to this pack of lies and fraud generated by BLM, that somehow Blacks are suppressed in this country. I never, ever, thought I would see a man like Jerry Jones do something like this -- not even if all the Black players on the team threatened to quit. I thought he was a man who had way too much honor, integrity, respect for law, and the police who uphold it. I was wrong....

No sweat off my rear end either way. Not passing the ACA is the same thing as repealing Obama Care as far as I'm concerned. Let those who wanted nothing done suffer the consequences next year.

You have my interpretation of the entire discussion. Your interpretation cherry picks one segment of the discussion and uses that as the basis for a smear. That is the pattern which Attkisson uses as the basis of her book. You've become one of the many smear merchants operating in the world today.

These spoiled players are not protesting a war, they are protesting America in general and doing it in the workplace. Go protest on the streets with all the other BLM thugs.

The BLM athletes brought politics into sports and Trump expressed how most of America feels about that.

The Biggest Different between The 1960s and Today ... Black People won't back down today. ;)

If you can't handle a Quarterback simply peacefully taking a knee ... then you definitely won't be able to handle what comes next.

I could list 1000s, but would it really mean anything to you? Probably not.

    I wonder why that is.

No it doesn't when whites commit more crimes.

If 10 black people commit a crime 8 out of the 10 go to prison, you have the same number of whites committing a crime and only 4 out of the 10 are sent to prison. Please explain that.

    Really.

    How are they disrespecting it.
