So, what's the solution - leave NK nuke America first of leave Trump and Kim act like fighting cocks?

North Korea isn't going to nuke us first because then they are getting wiped out. They only make all these big threats to keep people afraid of attacking them so they don't end up like Iraq. But Trump recently has been ramping up the rhetoric to distract from problems at home which has caused them to ramp it up too. The best thing we can do is to not play their big rhetoric game, they are just trolling us.

Nuclear weapons are out of the question for a long time, all sides included.

Even China and Russia don't want NK to have nukes, they clearly showed in UN votes or gov press but somehow the situation fits them better than the USA.
I strongly believe, both China and Russia's Far East prefer the fatty with nukes than the USA on their border, which says a lot...

I also believe the USA should do something fast about NK or leave them in peace.

Clinton left office 16 years ago promising that North Korea would never have nukes and ICBM's to threaten America with

    He lied

Trump took office a few months ago with north korea on the verge of having the ability of wipe out California

In less than a year they will have that capability and it is trump's responsibiity to prevent it

    By war if necessary

It's just that to have millions of Americans constantly on tenterhooks because a fat little megalomaniac with a bad haircut might - or might not? - send an ICBM their way, seems a tad disproportionate?

How can you be so sure they aren't going to nuke us first? If you really are Richard Dean Anderson, are you happy that LA could be a target of NK? I really hope you are just using his picture because I really like the man even though I don't agree with his stance on guns.

What about a coalition of troops in massive numbers invade North Korea with an agreement to turn the remains over to China and Russia after it's over.

Right. And the potential for nuclear blackmail exists ... "Remove your troops from SK or I'll blow away San Francisco".

    I voted "Other"...

Because I would not "nuke" North Korea. Instead, I would use the largest, most powerful thermobaric bombs in our arsenal -- MOAB- type bombs. LOTS of them....

"All the destruction... none of the radiation...."

An uncompromising threat like that would be sufficient for the US to launch an immediate military response against NK - after a prior air drop of leaflets giving the time and the target areas so that civilians can relocate. Then bring on the bunker busters!

If civilians have time to relocate then so does the military. Drop thousands of MOAB's starting at the DMZ and move towards China and Russia. Then stop and see what moves and drop some more.

Thank you! I was beginning to wonder if I was the only person here who knew what a thermobaric (MOAB) bomb is.

But, I'm afraid it 'ain't gonna happen'. Trump was given his marching-orders by the world's central bankers (primarily the Fed, the ECB, and their buddies in the IMF) that we will not use our military to overturn the North Korean regime. So, it turns out that we're going to TALK them to death with speeches at the UN, and use the same methodology of "sanctions" that have been oh-so-successful -- -- with others whose behaviors the bankers want to change....

Thus, instead of 'thousands of MOAB's', instead we'll drop thousands of pamphlets written to scare the hell out of North Koreans about how we're going to use 'sanctions' to prevent them from using various bank-transaction features to buy crap from certain companies in certain countries. Whereupon, the NK's will simply have the Chinese use other various bank-transaction modalities to buy crap from certain 'shell' companies through other means.

    Hint: bankers make piss-poor generals....

    1. We don't have thousands of MOABs.

    2. The only aircraft that delivers the MOAB is the MC-130. Not exactly a stealth aircraft or survivable in combat conditions. Plus, we don't have thousands of them either and they only carry one at a time.

    China and Russia.
    China and Russia...
    CHINA AND RUSSIA!!!

I swear to God that my country (I'm not making his up) is hoping that CHINA AND RUSSIA! start to worry SO MUCH SO as to align with USA against N. Korea thus stopping any nuclear bombs, I swear to God that that's what my country's diplomats are praying for, before they go to bed at night, going -
'Please let this escalation be Donald Trump's master plan to cause enough alarm in China and Russia with North Korea'...
    Just saying.
It's hardily a state secret when I hear Britain's above position in the news though.

The smart thing, of course, would have been for the United States and Russia to have joined forces and wiped out radical Islam, dangerous crudballs like Kimmy, and most of the rest of the world's lethal threats. But, OH, HELL NO! We just COULDN'T allow THAT to happen, now could we...?

Our manufacturing can make more bombs. I don't think North Korea has military aircraft with all their spending on missiles and nukes but our fighters can protect the aircraft delivering the bombs.

I doubt that this occured but if NK were to use a nuke on us or one of our allies then all bets are off.

Why should we have to use nukes anyway? What happened to being the most powerful well armed nation on earth? Surely we have alternatives to opening up that keg of total destruction?.
