Yes there is division in the country, and let put the blame where it belongs

There is no doubt that Obama set race relations and other divisions back decades. But----------------- he did not do it by him self. The help he got was and is the left wing media. They of course went all in promoting Hillary as president. They produced any number of fake news snips that was favorable to Hillary, and just the reverse for Trump. They widely released fake skewed polls that showed Hillary was going to win in a landslide, hoping that republicans would think the election was lost, and just not vote. But the reverse happened, a large number of liberals were so sure of a Hillary win------------they were the ones that didnt vote.

Now look what is happening. The left wing media is so embarrassed and angry for looking so stupid, they produce many "new" pieces every day against Trump, and blather their fake news that divides people. Worse yet the produce pieces supporting other groups that divide us such an BLM which is a totally racist group, and antifa that is a terrorist group. It was because of their favorable reports on them that caused them to continue to grow into the divisive groups they are now.

Bottom line, yes, it started with Obama, but it is the left wing media that is supporting an promoting the division we have now. Its time that anyone that considers them selves real Americans to tell them enough is enough. We recognize what you are doing to this country.

With the continuing failure of traditional sources of news, namely newspapers and magazines, the transition to the internet has brought about the death of ethical journalistic standards within the 4th Estate. Pushing revenue through click bait articles has become the norm.

Citizens need to push back, and continue calling out the fake news industry dominated by the liberals MSM partners.

Journalists admit their bias and one need only look at the political stances of MOST journalists to see it. The people who wanted to be integrated are now among the dividers. The media who pushed integration are now pointing out all our differences. The man we elected president to show we were all one turned out to be a divider. The universities that pushed unity are now discriminating. People who became wealthy because of opportunities for all are now condemning our country. This very forum has posters who will call you a name if you disagree with a national policy. We need to all look in the mirror.

 

I beg to disagree, the media has deteriorated just as much as our leading political parties to the point that media outlets are just propaganda centers for their desired party.

Nonetheless I agree that Obama was not the cause of deteriorating race-relations within the U.S. and I think that this path was started much longer ago as a result of increased coverage of police heavy handedness. A lack of assimilation in this nation and a dichotomy in the political spectrum is resulting in the perfect scenario for political, racial, and ethnic divides to become even greater in this nation.

 

Are you admitting that Hillary and her supporters were too dumb to understand that it is only the EC vote that means anything. She blew over a billion dollars and didnt know that. In that case thank heavens some one that dumb didnt become president.

Divisions are caused by irrespective people of any side. At the moment you insult someone of bolchevik or fascist, you prevent a respectfull discussion.

Neither Trump or Obama have the power to create division, they aren't gods, but humans. None of them are Eris the godess.

 

But when the left wing media attacks President Trump and his admin many times daily, they do cause division.
