This Sunday morning we see Brian Stelter along with other hosts taking Trump to task over his statement about the press writing whatever they want.

Stelter took him to task about being against the First Amendment.

The problem is that Stelter and CNN did *NOT* provide the full context of what Trump said!

NBC wrote: "President Donald Trump said he wanted what amounted to a nearly tenfold increase in the U.S. nuclear arsenal during a gathering this past summer of the nation's highest-ranking national security leaders, according to three officials who were in the room."

    What Trump actually said:

""No, I never discussed increasing it. I want it in perfect shape. That was just fake news by NBC, which gives a lot of fake news lately, Right now we have so many nuclear weapons. I want them in perfect condition, perfect shape. That's the only thing I've ever discussed."

"And it's frankly disgusting the way the press is able to write whatever they want to write. And people should look into it,"

The statement is not about abrogating the 1st Amendment as Stelter and CNN is saying, it is about the press writing FAKE NEWS!

And the press should *not* be able to write totally fake news stories. Lying by the press is *NOT* protected by the 1st Amendment. It is a clear and present danger to the nation and its continued existence.

And all of the news media talking about NBC having no licenses is nothing more than misdirection. NBC affiliates, i.e. local stations, who carry FAKE NEWS stories from NBC *do* put their licenses at risk. These local stations need to start putting some heat on NBC or risk having their licenses challenged for carrying LIES put out by NBC.

CNN not only spews fake news but out right lies. People that keep track of such things report that 90% of the "news" they broadcast about the President is negative.

CNN has in fact become the propaganda wing of the DNC, their Pravda so to speak.

    :roflol:

    Event: CNN reports that 1+1=2.

RW Fever Swamp Take: It's CNN. Gotta be wrong. Besides Trump told me that "1+1=3" and I believe him.

It is customary, when accusing others of lying to provide a basis for doing so beyond opinion. I guess you do not feel the need to do so, which makes in very likely you are propagating the "Fake News" you complain of. There is a reason you see their reporting on the President as negative...because it usually is.

I will agree that the news on CNN tends to focus on the failings of the President rather than the accomplishments, but the news is almost always accurate.
