I get cravings for a Whopper, but I have to travel to get it and didn't want to sit there and eat. I'm afraid it will be cold when I get home, so......oh well. I don't need to spend the money or eat all of that. It's a good lesson in self control, for me.

 

For hamburgers I make my own.

I combine the ground steak with finely diced onions and mash this together like mashed potatoes.

Then I make patties and fry it.

I don't have a grill to grill it on. I had one once and I gained about 50 lbs. So I gave it away and lost all that weight again.

I have tried some vegie burgers and they all taste like I imagine sh!t would taste like.

Just look at those folk who's shopping buggy is loaded
with sugary soda pop and junk food of all sorts and heaps of
gluten.Not a veggie in sight.Or whole foods like carrots,potatoes
and celery.

 

For dinner I am making home made wonton soup.

There is an Asian market on my way home from work and that's where I can get the frozen wontons.

They are good.

I am having white wine (pinot grigio) boilermaker'ed with moonshine with it.

 

I eat seafood and fish guilt free.

I also eat venison guilt free because they never feel or see or hear my mach-3 supersonic bullets coming at them.

I eat beef somewhat guilt free because steers are ugly animals and so I don't mind eating them.

I feel somewhat guilty eating pork and bacon. Piggies are smart and almost human like.

I feel very guilty eating lamb. I only have it once each year on Easter Thursday like Jesus did.

I put tilapia and seafood into my wonton soup.

 

Describe the taste.Because some dogs,do in fact eat other dog's
poops.Like in the movie :

Here's an idea.Forget the wonton and just use the best noodles
you can buy.The Amish have ESSENHAUS Homestyle Noodles.
With extra fancy durum flour. I use the Extra wide.

 

Cheech & Chong were a real gas in their heyday but their problem
was they never grew out of it.I mean their Doper schtick got old after
about a decade and Cocaine became the In thing.
I think I recall Pee Wee Herman snorting under a table in a
Cheech & Chong vehicle.If memory serves..

 

Pee Wee got caught in a trench coat at an adult movie theater.......you can guess what he was doing. His career ended abruptly.

 

If you're wondering why I put this here, it's because I was skeered I'd get yelled at if I put it where I wanted to. I wanted to put it in one of the Football Kneeling threads, but I thought it might be too far off-topic.

A guy I know from another forum teaches opera singers. He's a hard-core, hatin' lefty so we're not best of friends. He posted this video of a performance he sang in. It was performed and recorded on Sep. 20, 2001. He said it was very hard to sing that song at that time.

It would normally take us just a day of traveling to get home, this trip took 2 full days to get home. It started snowing when we were in Greenville, Tx. and we spent the night in Nacogdoches and the next two days were spent traveling home. We can usually get to Texas in a day. Traffic was stop and go on I-10, parts of it were closed with detours on back roads.

The Greatest recording ever. I was literally daffy smitten with Elton
John's music while in college.
Every song is a treasure.Bernie Taupin was a unique and fantastic songsmith.
I know practically every lyric.I should.Having played my LP
to death.That album put me in another world.Like what smoking POT
does.When Elton John came to Dayton U. my senior year I got right
up practically in front of him while he was playing.Standing the entire time.
I was transfixed.I did feel a little embarrassed and guilty.
But I was Moved.
I had to remove any thought about the crowd size.
I can easily see why Rush Limbaugh forked over ONE MILLION
to have Elton John perform at his Marriage.For his Trophy wife.
I think his net worth at the time was in the neighborhood of $ 400 Million.
