Unlike the President, most Americans know NFL kneelers aren't protesting the flag

Debunked a long time ago. The discrimination suit was at nearly every single company in the area. They were blanket suing EVERYONE at that time. You know Google, MS and Apple have been sued for racism and discrimination too? Guess Steve Jobs and Bill Gates were racists=) When the Obamas were married by a racist, doesn't it make them racist too?

You mean when Obama was president, because you know this started before Trump got in office and all. So when these pampered athletes were too GUTLESS to protest then, because one of their own was in office, it just wouldn't get the traction. NOW, they can claim they're protesting against Trump too as well as all the cops. Can't people see how transparent this all is? What a joke.

The NFL has damaged its own brand. Stupid. Really stupid.

CNBC: NFL's brand 'clearly damaged' over anthem flap, says CEO of world's No. 2 ad agency, By Berkeley Lovelace Jr., 11 Oct 2017.

When you protest, you are, almost by definition, engaging in a behavior that runs contrary to the societal or even legal norms. A majority of Americans did not think that the Berkeley Vietnam Protesters were doing the right thing. A majority of Americans did not think that MLK was doing the right thing.

Huh? You couldn't be more wrong.

Colin Kaepernick first took a knee in August of 2016. Other players and teammates started taking a knee right after the first time he did it. Obama (one of their own?) was President in 2016.

What was interesting to me was the black men and the owners on the field, not who was/is President. That's why I disassociated myself from the "Trump is a white supremacist" comment in his post.

Maybe we should be talking about how they behave OFF the field as well. with all their arrests especially for domestic violence. In the new era of Weinstein and no respect for women, I think this is a timely subject.

I'm a woman. Who exactly doesn't respect me?

Thank you for the correction. Please remember that the next time someone says "a majority of Americans voted for Hillary". :D

Agreed. It does go to show how the issue of race and what it means to be an American has continued to divide the nation. Many thought President Obama would heal racial wounds, but it appears he only picked at the scabs and poured salt in them.

More sour grapes from Madame Hillary's biggest butt smoocher. Some things never change.

Since Hillary is now limping through life with a broken toe (she "accidentally" fell down the stairs), it'll be easier for her fans to run up and kiss her ass.

Setting aside that the President's job approval rating is not supposed to be a protest, nor is supporting the President going against a cultural or legal norm, it is still possible that history may look down positively on Trump.

I sincerely and completely doubt that possibility, but it exists.

More likely she "accidentally" kicked Bill in the ass after she was grilled about Harvey Weinstein and his donations to Bill's
    sexual harassment defense fund.
She was forced to claim she would donate all the tainted Weinstein money to a charity (like the Clinton Foundation, perhaps?).

Giving the money away and being in the negative media spotlight yet again couldn't have made her happy.

Trump is an idiot and the only positive way I can see history looking on his administration is as an example of how low American politics have sunk to run two deplorables for President.

Mark Twain once remarked "Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it."

If people want to protest Trump, Congress or other members of their government, I fully support it, but the NFL players aren't protesting the government, they are protesting their country by dishonoring the symbols of our nation.

Funny about Bill. The Clinton foundation said they're keeping the $250,000 Weinstein "donations".

In all honesty the alternative was a president who was an epic enabler and defender of sexual harassment by her own husband (a man who is still making frequent trips to a personal sex island with a convicted sex offender buddy, Jeffrey Epstein).
So how are you able to tell others something about respect for women?

Actually, most Americans know that the players are furthering the same old divisive, left wing, racist, BS propaganda that you are peddling, while simultaneously disrespecting our flag and anthem. There is no "systemic police brutality disproportionately aimed at minorities". And nearly every subsequent investigation has proven it. Not to mention the fact that twice as many whites are killed by the Police. And like the blacks killed, they are nearly all justified. It is called law enforcement. Anyway, Americans are fed up with the lefts divisive lies and black poor mouthing, while plundering cities and banking millions. That's why we're boycotting the NFL. The left has become cancerous.

I guess it is strange, but it’s still a trump meme, designed to make it look like it’s all Trumps doing plus he’s racist. The wording is horrible as well. The owners own a team. The black men are employees. They are not owned by any “owner”. They have workplace rules, like we all do.

You use the word "most," but i think it does not mean when what you think it means.

Most anti-white haters use these arguments: they talk about "white supremacism" (white Jews are excluded from this category), and they play the worn out "Hitler-Card".

That are old and tired "arguments".
